A pill-shaped wall sconce that pairs two natural stones in one composition — a porous travertine outer frame cradles a softly glowing alabaster inset, accented by two aged-brass orbs. Light passes through the alabaster from within, casting a warm, diffused wash against the wall.
Hardwired and offered in two sizes — Small (14.6" tall) and Large (19.7" tall) — the Travertine Pill Sconce works mounted vertically beside an entryway mirror, flanking a powder-room vanity, or running down a hallway in pairs. Ships with a G9 LED pre-installed.

Natural travertine — porous texture is part of the stone
Travertine is a sedimentary stone formed in mineral springs — the small pits, voids, and tonal ribbons across the outer frame are characteristic of the material, not defects. Each frame is unique in pattern.
Natural alabaster — every inset is one of a kind
Each alabaster center is cut from a unique stone block, so vein direction, cloud pattern, and translucency vary between pieces. The sconce you receive will not be vein-identical to the photo.
Indoor dry locations only
This sconce is rated IP20 — suitable for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms, and entryways. Not rated for damp locations such as enclosed showers. For powder rooms, install at a safe distance from the sink and away from direct splash.
G9 LED — pre-installed and replaceable
The included G9 LED is rated for roughly 25,000 hours of normal use. When it eventually needs replacing, simply remove the alabaster cover and swap in a standard G9 bulb — no proprietary parts required. If you have any questions, please contact our customer support team.

- Hardwired wall installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Connects to a standard junction box and is controlled by an external wall switch.
- The natural-stone body has substantial weight (~6.6 lb) — mount into a stud or use appropriate drywall anchors rated for the load.
- Designed for vertical orientation. Ceiling height of 8.5 ft or taller is recommended for proper proportion.
- For indoor dry locations only. Not suitable for showers or wet locations.
Is the bulb included?
Yes — a 9W G9 LED in 2700K warm white ships pre-installed. When it eventually needs replacing, any standard G9 bulb in the same wattage range will work.
Why two different stones?
Each stone is doing different work. The travertine outer frame brings architectural texture and a warm, sand-toned weight. The alabaster center is translucent — it lets the light through, turning the inset into a glowing panel. Solid travertine wouldn't transmit light; pure alabaster wouldn't have that grounding texture.
Is the lamp dimmable?
No. The sconce uses a standard wall switch for on/off. The included G9 LED is not dimmable.
Can I install it in a bathroom?
Only in dry zones. The sconce is rated IP20, which means it's safe for powder rooms and bathroom areas away from direct water exposure — but not inside a shower enclosure or anywhere subject to splash.
Will my sconce look exactly like the photo?
No two are identical. Travertine pit patterns and alabaster veining vary between pieces — natural variation is part of what makes each sconce one of a kind.
