Installation & Care

No hardwiring required. Mount to the wall using the included screws or adhesive. Confirm the wall surface is suitable for adhesive mounting before use — tile and textured surfaces may require screw mounting.
Charge the built-in battery via the included USB cable. Connect to any USB power source — power bank, laptop USB port, or USB wall adapter. A full charge provides up to 4 hours of illumination.
Use the touch sensor on the fixture body or the wireless remote to power on/off, adjust brightness, and switch between 3000K, 4000K, and 6000K color temperatures.
Set the timer function via the remote to automatically power off after a set period — useful for bedside or nightlight use.
Clean the body and shade with a soft dry cloth. Do not wet-clean or use liquid cleaners directly on the acrylic diffuser. Do not expose to sustained moisture — IP20 rated for dry indoor use only.
The integrated LED is not user-replaceable. If the LED fails, contact us for warranty assessment.

Does this require hardwiring or an electrician?

No. The LumenTrace is fully rechargeable — it mounts to the wall with screws or adhesive and charges via a USB cable (included). No junction box, no wiring, no electrician required. This makes it ideal for renters, rental spaces, and anywhere a hardwired installation isn't possible.

How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?

Up to 4 hours of illumination on a full charge. Charge using the included USB cable connected to any USB power source — a power bank, laptop USB port, or USB wall adapter. Charge time will vary depending on the power source output. The lamp can be used while charging if the USB cable reaches.

Which size should I choose?

The 60 cm (23.6″) works for a narrow wall panel, single artwork, or bedside application. The 80 cm (31.5″) suits a standard mirror or medium artwork. The 100 cm (39.4″) works for a wider vanity mirror or a two-artwork arrangement. The 120 cm (47.2″) is the statement size — suited to a large bathroom mirror, a wide art installation, or a hallway wall where a long linear light carries the space. All four sizes share the same H 6 cm × D 12 cm profile.

Can I select the color temperature?

Yes. The lamp offers three selectable color temperatures via the remote: 3000K warm white for ambient and relaxed lighting, 4000K neutral white for balanced task lighting, and 6000K cool daylight for maximum brightness and clarity. Switch between them at any time using the remote or touch sensor.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The LumenTrace is IP20 rated — suitable for dry indoor locations only. It is not waterproof and should not be installed inside a shower enclosure or in a zone with direct water splash. For a bathroom vanity mirror application away from direct moisture (the dry zone), IP20 is generally acceptable — confirm with your local building code. Do not install within reach of a shower or bathtub water spray zone.

Can the LED be replaced?

No — the LED module is integrated and not user-replaceable. If the LED fails, contact us at hello@vakkerlight.com for warranty assessment and replacement options.
