Swing Arm Wall Sconce — double articulating arm, chrome pivot, cone shade, three finishes.
Two metal arms connect end-to-end at a chrome pivot joint — the first arm extends from a round wall backplate, the second arm angles downward from the pivot to the cone shade head. Both arms and the shade can be repositioned by rotating at the pivot joint and the backplate mount, allowing the shade to be placed within a wide arc of positions from the wall — pulled close for bedside reading or extended outward for general wall illumination. Available in White, Nickel, or Matte Black.
ⓘ Articulating range: Both arm segments rotate at their joints, allowing the shade position to be adjusted forward, sideways, and at angle. The arms hold their set position under the lamp’s own weight once positioned — no locking mechanism is required for normal use.
Double Articulating Arm
Two arms linked at a chrome pivot — the shade can be positioned within a wide arc from the wall.
Chrome Pivot Joint
Polished chrome connector between arms — functional accent in all three finish options.
Downward Cone Shade
Small conical shade directs E14 light downward — focused reading or task illumination.
Total arm reach: determined by joint angle — see installation diagram
Backplate: round, mounts directly to wall
All three finishes share the same chrome pivot joint. Select at time of order.
White
Matte white — light and clean. Best against white or pale walls where the arm should recede.
Nickel
Satin nickel — cool metallic, coordinates with chrome pivot. Suits contemporary and transitional spaces.
Matte Black
Deep matte black — high contrast, industrial, and modern farmhouse. The chrome pivot reads as accent.
E14 — bulb not included
Compatible with E14 LED and Edison candle bulbs. A warm-white E14 LED candle at 2700 K at 4–6W is recommended — the small conical shade is proportioned for candle-form E14 bulbs and the warm tone suits the reading and bedside positions where this sconce is most often installed. A flame-tip or straight candle-tip LED is the most appropriate shape — larger globe shapes may protrude visibly below the shade opening.

How far from the wall can the shade reach?
The total reach depends on the angle of both arm segments at their respective pivot points. At full extension with both arms roughly parallel to the wall surface, the shade can reach approximately 40–50 cm forward from the wall. When folded back, the profile is significantly reduced. The installation diagram (see Downloads) shows the range of motion and the mounting centre dimensions. For bedside reading, a position with the shade approximately 30–40 cm from the wall and angled downward at 30–45° provides comfortable task illumination.
Can I install two sconces symmetrically on either side of a bed?
Yes — this is the most common installation for this sconce. Each backplate mounts independently to the wall at the same height on each side of the headboard. Center each backplate approximately 60–70 cm from the bed’s center and at a height of 130–150 cm from the floor (or 40–50 cm above the top of the mattress), then adjust the arm angle to position the shade over the pillow area. Both sconces require hardwired installation — have your electrician run wire to two in-wall junction points before installation.
Does the arm hold its position or drift over time?
The pivot joint holds the arm position under the static weight of the lamp and shade through friction at the joint. In normal use — where the arm is set to a position and left — the joint will hold its angle. If the joint is repositioned frequently over time, the friction may decrease. The backplate joint at the wall also has a pivot range; this should be confirmed to its preferred angle during installation and tightened securely. If the arm begins to drift, contact us for guidance on adjusting the joint tension.
Is the Swing Arm Wall Sconce certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
If it is a product quality problem or transportation damage, we will provide free return and exchange services, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our customers.
