A sculptural rattan floor lamp built around a glowing onion-form bulb chamber suspended on a slender woven stem. Hand-woven from natural rattan in a single continuous form — the slim neck, the rounded glowing body, the tapered stem, and the wide flared base are all part of one uninterrupted weave.
At nearly 6 feet tall (70.9"), Onion is a statement floor lamp — scaled for a living room corner, an entryway, a tall reading nook, or as a sculptural anchor in a coastal-modern bedroom. Plug-and-play with a 5 ft cord and inline switch; takes a standard E26 bulb (sold separately) so you can choose the color temperature that suits the room.

Onion is woven by hand from natural rattan, so weave tension, fiber tone, and small surface variations differ from one lamp to the next. These are signs of authentic craftsmanship, not defects — the lamp you receive will not be identical to the photo.
Natural rattan — keep it indoors and dry
Real rattan is a living material. Keep Onion in dry indoor conditions, away from direct sunlight, radiators, and humid rooms (kitchens, bathrooms). Dust gently with a soft brush; avoid wet cleaning.
Light from inside the weave
The bulb sits inside the onion-form chamber and projects light outward through the rattan weave — casting soft, warm, dappled shadows on nearby walls and the floor. Onion is designed for ambient mood lighting, not task light.

Is the rattan real, or is it synthetic?
Real. Onion is woven from 100% natural rattan vine by hand — not PE rattan, not resin, not machine-extruded. That's why each piece carries its own small weave variations.
What bulb should I buy?
A standard E26 LED, 40-60W incandescent equivalent. For warm cozy ambiance pick 2700K; for slightly crisper light pick 3000K. Bulb sold separately.
Is it bright enough to read by?
Onion is designed for ambient mood lighting, not task light. The rattan weave diffuses the bulb into a soft dappled glow — beautiful in a corner or beside a sofa, but pair it with a task lamp if you read regularly in that spot.
Will my lamp look exactly like the photo?
No two are identical. Hand-weaving introduces small natural variations in tension, fiber tone, and surface texture — part of why every Onion is uniquely the work of its maker.
How do I clean and care for it?
Dust gently with a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment on low suction. Avoid wet cleaning — natural rattan should not get wet. Keep the lamp away from direct sunlight, radiators, and humid rooms to preserve the fiber color and tension.
