I bought this lamp to place on a console table by my front door. I wanted something on the small size and the narrow shade works well for the small space. At first I thought it was too gaudy looking but once assembled it looks like it cost twice the price. The shade material is above average and looks like silk. The cord is quite long. It feels sturdy and the on/off switch is solid and easy to turn. The only defect is on the harp where the shade sits. It is slightly crooked. Fortunately I was able to bend the harp enough to level the shade and still have it sit squarely over the base. Be sure to check the measurements. The lamp is on the small side and the shade is narrow on the sides so be sure it will work for the space youre buying it for.

Perfect size and lots of light

Love this lamp!! Perfect for living room, foyer, bedroom. Bought for a console table in my living room. After assembling it, I also tried it on my bedside table and my triple dresser. Looks great in all three places. Finally decided to leave it in the living and buy 2 more for my bedroom, maybe, in the darker color, either color would look great.

Nice lamp. Well made, with good quality shade. Didn't care for the slightly gaudy finial, but that was an easy fix.

Perfect for nightstands. Got 2 for my guest room. Very happy with them. Small footprint so they leave plenty of space on the nightstand.
