A drum-shaped pendant woven from natural jute rope and rattan — two materials that share the same warm straw tone but differ in texture and weave density. The outer cage is structured rattan; natural jute rope wraps the interior and the upper crown, adding a softer, more tactile layer visible through the open weave. Three weave patterns change the quality of light the shade casts: Cross-weave creates a fine grid shadow on the ceiling; Round-hole weave projects scattered dot patterns; Black weave uses the same structure in a darker tone that reads more contrast-forward. One 3000K E27 LED bulb is included. Cord drop is adjustable at installation.

A 3000K warm white E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant — ready to use straight out of the box. The E27 socket accepts any standard medium screw base bulb as a replacement. For dimming, swap to a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a compatible dimmer switch; the included bulb may or may not be dimmable — check its packaging.
Hardwired ceiling install
This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box — it is not plug-in. A licensed electrician is recommended. Turn off power at the breaker before installation. Cord length is adjustable at install.
Natural material — color and texture vary between units
Jute and rattan are natural plant-based materials. Slight variation in tone, weave density, and surface texture between individual units is inherent and not a manufacturing defect. Color may appear slightly different from screen to physical product depending on monitor calibration.
Jute rope + rattan weave
Natural jute rope wraps the crown and interior; structured rattan forms the outer woven cage. The two materials share a warm straw palette but differ in weave tightness — rattan carries the structural shape, jute softens it.
3 weave patterns
Cross-weave (fine grid shadow), Round-hole weave (scattered dot projection), and Black weave (contrast-forward dark tone). Each pattern changes both the shade's surface texture and the shadow it casts on the ceiling when lit.
Adjustable cord drop
Cord length adjusts at installation — position the shade at the right height for your ceiling without swapping hardware. Works in standard 2.4 m (8 ft) rooms and taller spaces alike.

Cross-weave · Round-hole · Black — same structure, different light behavior
Cross-weave uses a tight horizontal-vertical rattan grid in natural tan. When lit, it casts a fine lattice shadow pattern onto the ceiling and upper walls — subtle in daylight, visible at night. Round-hole weave replaces the grid intersections with circular apertures, so the lit pendant projects scattered dot patterns rather than a continuous grid — a more decorative light effect. Black weave uses the same cross-grid structure but in a dark-stained tone; the contrast between the dark shade body and the warm light passing through the openings is sharper, making it better suited to rooms with neutral or cool palettes where the natural tan variants might blend in too much.

One 3000K warm white E27 LED bulb ships in the box — plug it in and it is ready. The E27 socket accepts any standard medium screw base bulb as a replacement. A globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb is partially visible through the open weave and adds a decorative warm-glow detail if you prefer the look. Do not exceed the socket's rated wattage. For dimming, use a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and a compatible dimmer switch.

- Turn off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for all hardwired ceiling connections.
- Cord length is adjustable at the canopy during installation. For dining use, position the bottom of the shade 70–80 cm (28–32″) above the table surface.
- Screw the included E27 bulb into the socket. Do not exceed the wattage rating on the socket label. The included bulb can be replaced with any E27 bulb of your choice — a globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb is visible through the open weave and suits the material aesthetic.
- For dimming: the included bulb may not be dimmable — check its packaging. For reliable dimming, replace with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a compatible leading- or trailing-edge dimmer switch.
- Jute and rattan care: remove dust with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum brush attachment. Do not wet-clean or expose to sustained moisture — water weakens natural jute fiber and can cause rattan to swell or warp. Keep away from cooking steam and high-humidity zones.
- Black weave: the dark finish may be more susceptible to showing dust than the natural tan variants — brush lightly every 2–4 weeks in dusty environments.

A globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb works well through the open weave if you prefer a visible filament look.
What is the difference between the three weave patterns?

Which size should I choose?

The Medium (Ø50 cm) anchors a 2–4 seat dining table or kitchen island in a 13–17 m² room. The Large (Ø60 cm) is the statement size — it works over a 4–6 seat dining table in a 17–20 m² open-plan space. For tables longer than 180 cm, consider hanging two Medium or Small pendants in a line rather than one Large.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the replacement bulb. The included 3000K E27 bulb may not be dimmable — check its packaging. For reliable dimming, use a Triac-dimmable E27 LED with a compatible leading- or trailing-edge (Triac) dimmer switch.
What interior styles does this suit?
The natural tan Cross-weave and Round-hole variants work naturally in Japandi, wabi-sabi, coastal, and organic modern interiors — spaces that layer warm wood tones, undyed textiles, and natural materials. The Black weave reads more contemporary and works in contrast-forward or industrial-adjacent rooms where a natural tan shade would disappear into the background. All three variants suit bohemian and eclectic interiors that already use woven textures.
How do I care for jute and rattan?
Use a soft brush or low-suction vacuum attachment to remove surface dust — this is the only cleaning method recommended. Do not wet-clean or expose to sustained moisture: water weakens natural jute fiber and causes rattan to swell or warp over time. Keep the pendant away from cooking steam, open windows in wet weather, and high-humidity rooms such as bathrooms or saunas. In dry climates, occasional light dusting is sufficient; in humid environments, check for any loosening of the woven structure and keep the pendant away from direct moisture sources.
The color looks slightly different from the photos — is this normal?
Yes. Jute and rattan are natural plant-based materials — their exact tone varies between batches depending on harvest conditions, and the warm 3000K bulb shifts the apparent color of the shade when lit versus unlit. Monitor calibration also affects how the natural tan reads on screen. If the color you receive differs significantly from what you expected, please contact us with a photo and we'll help assess whether it falls within normal material variation.
