Calyra Tiered Glass Chandelier — Murano spirit, aqua light.
Inspired by the centuries-old glassblowing tradition of Murano, Venice, the Calyra Tiered Glass Chandelier translates that spirit of luminous craftsmanship into a contemporary architectural form. Vertically ribbed glass panels in a soft aqua hue are stacked in flaring tiers, each layer catching and refracting light differently — accented with warm brass hardware that deepens the sense of refinement. An elevated statement for dining spaces and grand interiors.
Inspired by Murano glassmaking tradition
The Calyra draws from the heritage of Murano, the Venetian island renowned since the 13th century for its master glassblowers. The ribbed aqua glass panels reference the textured, colour-saturated blown glass forms that Murano artisans have perfected over centuries — reinterpreted here with contemporary tiered geometry and warm brass detailing.

What is the connection to Murano glassmaking?
The Calyra is inspired by — not manufactured in — Murano. The Venetian island of Murano has been the centre of Italian glassblowing since the 13th century, renowned for its richly coloured, textured glass forms. The Calyra references this tradition through its ribbed aqua glass panels, tiered form, and the warm brass detailing that echoes the ornate metalwork common in Venetian lighting. It is a contemporary interpretation of that aesthetic.
Which bulb colour temperature works best with the aqua glass?
A warm-white bulb at 2700–3000 K is strongly recommended. The warm amber light passing through the aqua glass creates a rich teal-gold quality that is particularly beautiful. Cool daylight bulbs (5000K+) tend to flatten the aqua tone and reduce the warmth of the brass accents. A clear filament Edison candle or globe in warm white is ideal.
Can the chain length be extended?
Yes. The standard chain is 11.8″ (30 cm) and adjustable. Extensions are available on request — contact our support team before ordering and we will advise.
