De constructie is gemaakt van een paar gloeiende bollen die tussen twee schuine stalen platen zijn geplaatst. De metalen bollen die aan beide zijden te zien zijn, hebben precies de juiste dichtheid om het tegenovergestelde deel van het gewicht van de lampen te compenseren. de algehele structuur is geaard door een zwartmarmeren voet.

Houd er rekening mee dat, de marmering verschilt van product tot product en kan er dus anders uitzien dan op de getoonde afbeeldingen.
