The Orlan is a sputnik chandelier with an iron frame in a warm antique bronze finish — spider-arms radiate from a center hub, each ending in a turned disc that cradles a velvet cone shade with a small teardrop finial beneath. Three velvet colorways (Hunter Green, Russet, Ivory White) and four sizes, from 3-head to 8-head, suit a dining table, kitchen island, breakfast nook, or grand foyer. Hardwired; drop height adjusts with included rods.
Sputnik form
Iron spider-arms radiate from a center hub in a mid-century starburst, each tipped with a shaded light.
Antique bronze iron
Hub, arms, canopy, collars, and finials are iron in a warm antique bronze finish with soft tonal depth.
Velvet cone shades
Tapered velvet shades in three saturated colorways diffuse warm light with a soft nap and no harsh glare.
Four sizes
3-, 5-, 6-, and 8-head, from 22.4″ to 36.6″ diameter — scaled to tables, islands, and foyers.
Adjustable drop
Three included rods (7.9″ / 11.8″ / 19.7″) combine for a drop from 7.9″ to 39.4″.

Bulb base — E12
Each shade takes one E12 candelabra-base bulb, so the count matches the head count (3 to 8). E12 is the US candelabra base, so standard US bulbs fit. We suggest 25–40W-equivalent LEDs in warm white (2700–3000K); avoid halogen, as the velvet sits close to the bulb. Outside North America, we can configure E14 on request — email us before ordering.

- Hardwired ceiling fixture — we recommend a licensed electrician; shut off power at the breaker before wiring.
- Connects to a standard 4″ round or octagon junction box; the 6- and 8-head sizes need a chandelier-rated box anchored to a joist (fixture weight runs roughly 8–22 lb across sizes).
- Drop height is set with the three included rods (7.9″ / 11.8″ / 19.7″), used singly or combined up to 39.4″. Total drop = rod length + fixture height (15.6″) + canopy.
- Hang about 30–36″ above a dining table; use the 7.9″ rod for 8 ft ceilings, 19.7″ for 9 ft, and combine rods for 10 ft and higher.
- Use E12 LED bulbs (warm white, 2700–3000K); avoid halogen and incandescent, since the velvet sits close to the bulb and high heat can mark the fabric over time.
- Dust the velvet with a soft brush or lint roller, and wipe the antique bronze frame with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive or ammonia-based cleaners.
Which size fits my dining table?
A chandelier should be about half to two-thirds the width of the table below it. For a 4-person table (36–48″) choose 3-head; for 6-person (60–72″) choose 5-head; for 8-person (84–96″) choose 6-head; for longer tables, foyers, or great rooms choose 8-head. For a round table, pick a diameter about 12″ smaller than the table.

How do I set the hanging height?
Three rigid rods are included (7.9″, 11.8″, 19.7″), used singly or combined up to 39.4″. Aim for about 30–36″ above a dining table: the 7.9″ rod suits 8 ft ceilings, 19.7″ suits 9 ft, and combining rods covers 10 ft and higher. Your electrician sets this during install.
What does the antique bronze finish look like?
It's a warm bronze tone with subtle tonal variation across the iron frame, as shown in the photos — a soft, aged character rather than a bright polish. It pairs well with warm woods, velvet, and warm-white light. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive polishes.
How do I care for the velvet shades?
For dust, vacuum gently on low suction with a brush attachment, or use a soft lint roller. For light marks, brush with a velvet brush or soft dry cloth along the nap. For deeper stains, lift the shade off the collar and have it spot-cleaned by a dry cleaner familiar with velvet — never machine-wash. Replacement shades are available.
