No. The Travertine Striped Floor Lamp is plug-in — it comes with a 59.1″ (150 cm) cable with an inline push-button on/off switch. Simply plug it into any standard wall outlet. No hardwiring or electrician is required.
Will my lamp’s travertine look like the photos?
The striped form and proportions will match, but yellow travertine is a natural stone and its veining pattern, mineral tone, and surface texture differ between every piece. Your lamp’s travertine segments will have their own individual stone character. This natural variation is inherent to the material and part of what makes each floor lamp unique.
Which bulb shape works best with the pleated shade?
A standard A-shape or large globe E26/E27 bulb at 2700–3000 K warm white is ideal. The pleated beige fabric shade diffuses and warms the light beautifully — a warm filament Edison bulb creates particularly atmospheric results. Avoid cool daylight bulbs (5000K+), which can give the shade a slightly clinical cast at odds with the earthy material palette of the pole.
