The Monstera — Tropical Leaf Resin Wall Sconce
A sculptural wall sconce shaped after the deeply lobed leaves of a tropical monstera plant — the resin form faithfully reproduces the leaf's natural perforations and cut-out fenestrations, letting warm light spill through in the same dappled pattern that sunlight makes through a jungle canopy. A single E12 or E14 bulb sits at the stem, casting both direct light and a botanical shadow pattern onto the wall behind. Available in leaf green. Hardwired, wall-switch compatible.

The Monstera Wall Sconce is hardwired — it connects to your wall junction box and requires a licensed electrician to install. It is not a plug-in fixture. The canopy mounts over a standard round junction box.

Compatible with LED or Edison-style E12/E14 bulbs. A warm-white LED at 2700–3000K is recommended — the warm tone works naturally with the leaf-green resin and creates the most atmospheric dappled shadow pattern through the fenestrations.

Does this lamp need a junction box?
Yes — the Monstera Wall Sconce is hardwired and requires a wall junction box (JBOX). It is not a plug-in fixture. A licensed electrician connects the fixture wires to your existing wall circuit through the junction box. The backplate mounts flush over a standard round JBOX.
What bulb creates the best shadow pattern?
A clear or lightly frosted E12/E14 LED at 2700K produces the most defined dappled shadow pattern through the leaf perforations. A more frosted bulb will produce a softer, more diffused glow. For the signature botanical shadow effect, choose a compact clear bulb with a visible light source — this casts the crisper shadows through the fenestrations onto the wall behind.
Can this be used outdoors on a covered porch?
No — the Monstera Wall Sconce is rated IP20 and is designed for indoor use only. It is not waterproof or weather-resistant. Direct exposure to rain, humidity, or outdoor conditions will damage the resin finish and electrical components over time.
Is the Monstera Wall Light certified for North America and Europe?
Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.
