Hush is a pendant light made from PET acoustic felt — a dense, sound-absorbing material shaped into a segmented petal dome. As well as casting a soft, downward pool of light from its built-in LED, the felt shade helps absorb sound and soften echo, taking the edge off a room with hard floors, glass, or tall ceilings. It is a quiet, functional centerpiece for a dining table, kitchen island, home office, or open-plan space.

Available in three sizes and seven felt colors, with a built-in LED — no bulbs to buy or change. Hardwired to the ceiling, for indoor, dry locations.

The LED is built into the fixture — there are no bulbs to buy or change. Power draw is 15W on the two smaller sizes and 20W on the largest. The light is cast downward as ambient rather than task light. The LED is serviced by us if it ever needs attention.

How does the acoustic felt actually help?

PET acoustic felt is a dense, sound-absorbing material — the same family used in office acoustic panels. Over a table or desk it absorbs some of the sound that bounces off hard floors, glass, and ceilings, which softens echo and helps a room feel calmer. It is a helpful improvement, not full soundproofing.

Which size should I choose?

The Small (Ø 15.7″) suits a bedside, entry, or small nook; the Medium (Ø 23.6″) suits a dining table or breakfast bar; the Large (Ø 29.5″) suits a big table, island, or open-plan room where you want more presence and more sound absorption.

Does it use a bulb?

No — the LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or change. Power draw is 15W on the two smaller sizes and 20W on the largest.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a ceiling junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended. It is rated IP20 for indoor, dry locations only.

How do I clean the felt?

Dust gently with a soft brush or vacuum on a low setting with a brush attachment. Spot-clean marks with a barely-damp cloth and let it air-dry; avoid soaking the felt or using harsh cleaners.
