Can I use a standard wall switch?

No. This fan light is only compatible with the Vakkerlight Wireless Wall Switch. Standard home switches are not compatible with this model's receiver. If you prefer wall control over the handheld remote, purchase the Wireless Wall Switch from the Vakkerlight website. Note: the wall switch can only be purchased alongside a lighting fixture, not separately.

Are blade gaskets required?

Yes — blade gaskets are required during blade installation. Skipping the gaskets will damage the motor's copper wire. Always install gaskets when attaching the blades.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

A downrod version is available for sloped ceiling installations. Contact customer service for compatible sloped ceiling accessories before ordering.

What ceiling types is it NOT suitable for?

This fan cannot be installed on: joists + gypsum board or wood panel ceilings (causes noise and wobbling), prefabricated ceilings, or sloped ceilings in its standard form. The beam width must be at least 6 cm and the ceiling must support over 20 kg.
