Are the shells breakable if I accidentally hit them?

Yes. Alabaster is a soft natural stone. Each shell is mounted individually, so a direct hit can crack or dislodge one. It's not a fixture for rooms with ceiling fans or low clearance traffic.

What color are the shells really—are they white or cream?

Off-white to pale cream, with natural striations and slight color variation from shell to shell. They're not pure white. Under warm light they read more ivory; under cool light more pale beige.

How many bulbs does each size take and can I use LEDs?

V1 takes 6 bulbs. V2 and V3 take 15 bulbs. V4 and V5 take 21 bulbs. V6 takes 30 bulbs. All use E14 sockets. Any E14 LED or incandescent bulb works—wattage is up to you and your room's electrical setup.

Is the brass shiny or matte?

Polished brass. It will oxidize and darken over years of natural aging. If you want to slow that, you can wax or lacquer it—but most people let it patina naturally.

¿Son frágiles las conchas si les doy un golpe accidental?

Sí. El alabastro es una piedra natural blanda. Cada concha está montada individualmente, por lo que un impacto directo puede quebrarla o desalojarla. No es un accesorio apropiado para habitaciones con ventiladores de techo o espacios con circulación de bajo despeje.

¿Cuál es realmente el color de las conchas, blanco o crema?

Blanco roto a crema pálido, con veteado natural y ligera variación cromática de concha a concha. No es blanco puro. Con luz cálida adquieren un matiz más marfil; con luz fría, más beige pálido.

¿Cuántas bombillas necesita cada tamaño y puedo usar LED?

V1 utiliza 6 bombillas. V2 y V3 utilizan 15 bombillas. V4 y V5 utilizan 21 bombillas. V6 utiliza 30 bombillas. Todas utilizan casquillos E14. Cualquier bombilla LED o incandescente E14 funciona: la potencia depende de ti y de la instalación eléctrica de tu hogar.

¿El latón es brillante o mate?

I love this light, installation was easy, its elevated my living room decore & it was affordable. Although a chandelier it takes the basic little night light bulbs which is perfect because they are hugely affordable & accessible.

This alabaster pendant light is awesome. Reasonably priced with a big lighting statement. My light arrived quickly. We installed and I started attaching the alabaster. We were missing a few alabaster so I reached out to customer service. They quickly sent replacements and we are 150% satisfied as always with Vakkerlight.

This chandelier was the perfect soft elegant touch to the dining room. I added a dimmer switch to enhance the effects to set the mood. The shells are delicate and can break if dropped, but there were extras included so not to worry.

Im in love with the way this chandelier changed the look of my bedroom. I installed it as a flush mount and it creates the prettiest light patterns on the ceiling. It got even better when I used smart light bulbs that can dim and change colors. The candlelight setting is are gorgeous and a purple or blue setting gives under the sea vibes!

I love this for the guest bedroom. We were able to shorten the chain and keep it up closer to the ceiling. It makes the room!

This is such a Beautiful chandelier! I put it over a breakfast table in a coastal Hilton Head Island AirBNB. It gives a cool coastal vibe without the cheesy beach condo look!

Love it and looks absolutely beautiful over the dining table. Did not come with light bulbs so be sure to order. Great accent lighting and adds a lot of character to the room.
