They are very easy to install if you know what you want to use them for. I'm replacing a broken lamp so I don't even need any instructions. The lights are bright and located on the stairs leading from top to bottom. It lights up the stairs and even the top of them. There's also a light at the top of the stairs, which almost makes it pointless. It looks very elegant and hasn't faded yet.
