De in 1950 ontworpen hanglamp benadrukt de innovatieve, experimentele benadering van ontwerper. In die tijd was glas het favoriete materiaal van de verlichtingsindustrie. Maar toen de ontwerper in 1949–50 de eerste monsters van methacrylaat ontving, een nieuw polymeer plastic dat veel sterker en lichter was dan glas, leidden zijn experimenten hem naar een nieuwe hanglamp, model 2065. Zoals in zoveel van zijn ontwerpen, ging hij door om de komende jaren met verschillende composities, afmetingen en kleurvarianten te werken.

Model 2065 bestaat uit een diffusor gemaakt van twee verbonden opalen schotels, opgehangen aan het plafond met een zwart geverfde aluminium luifel. De eenvoud van het design elliptische design en de lichtheid van de materialen zorgen voor een schijnbaar gewichtloze armatuur.

Easy Install & Classy Look

I absolutely adore these pendant lights! I had a professional install them and it they commented on the fact that it was an easy install. They did it pretty quickly. The cord was very long and he cut it based on my preference and left extra cord on the inside in case I changed my mind and wanted it lower. But there should be no concern about cord length here. It comes with specifics about what kind of bulbs are suggested which is great for me. It upgrades the look of my open kitchen/ dining and living room space. I went with
