Bought this for use on my office desk and it worked out about perfect.The quality and style are excellent - a mix of vintage and modern. It is a beautiful mid century lamp. It is bigger than I thought. Ample light which I love. Lots of compliments. I think the black one is gorgeous too. Worth the cost.

LOVE the style and the size was bigger than I expected - perfect! The lamp is adjustable and when it's on next to my bedside, it doesn't light up my partner's side of the bed unless I have it lifted up or turned to where there's more light spraying. But for crossword puzzles, I can keep it turned down to just me and it works great. It's just a beautiful design, heavy, sturdy, well made, even the electrical cord is stylish.
