A drum pendant built entirely from cotton thread — dense vertical strands wrap the cylindrical shade body, and a ring of knotted cotton fringe drops from the lower hem. The open bottom lets light fall directly downward while the thread walls filter a warm ambient glow outward at the sides. The natural, undyed cotton gives the shade a quiet, tactile presence that reads well in both minimalist and bohemian rooms. Available in four diameters, all at the same 27 cm height. A 3000K E27 LED bulb is included.
E27 LED bulb included — 3000K warm white
A 3000K warm-white E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant. Hang it, wire it, screw in the bulb, and it is ready. Any standard E27 bulb also fits the socket if you prefer a different output or color temperature.
Hardwired ceiling install
This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box. The cord adjusts up to 1.2 m — bundle or trim excess during installation. A licensed electrician is recommended. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.
Dense Cotton Thread Body
Vertical cotton strands wrap the drum frame tightly — the thread wall filters light softly at the sides while the open base directs the main pool downward.
Knotted Fringe Hem
A single row of knotted cotton fringe wraps the lower edge — the tassels catch light and sway gently, softening the transition from shade to room.
Open-Bottom Downlight
No lower diffuser — light falls directly onto the table or floor below, making it well-suited to task-adjacent settings like dining and reading.
3000K Bulb Included
A warm-white E27 LED at 3000K ships in the box — no separate bulb purchase needed.
1.2 m Adjustable Cord

The included 3000K warm-white LED is ready to use out of the box. Because the bottom of the shade is open, the bulb type affects the light pattern — a round globe or standard A-shape bulb distributes light evenly in all directions. To dim, swap for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac wall dimmer.

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling connection to the junction box.
- Adjust the cord to your preferred length (maximum 1.2 m) before securing the white Ø10 cm canopy. For dining tables, hang the bottom of the fringe 70–80 cm (28–32″) above the tabletop.
- Screw the included E27 3000K LED bulb into the socket and restore power. A round globe or A-shape bulb distributes light most evenly through the open bottom. Any standard E27 base also fits.
- To dim: replace the included bulb with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.
- Dust the cotton thread body with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. Smooth the fringe strands gently by hand if they become tangled — do not pull individual strands or machine-wash. Spot-clean with a barely damp cloth if needed; allow to dry fully before switching the light back on.

Which size should I choose?
All four sizes share the same 27 cm height, so the choice is purely about diameter relative to your table or room. The S (Ø40 cm) suits a 2-person table or a bedside. The M (Ø50 cm) works over a 2–4 person table. The L (Ø60 cm) is the most popular single pendant — suited to a 4–6 person dining table or a bedroom. The XL (Ø80 cm) covers a 6–8 person table or a large open-plan space. Because all four are the same height, hanging proportion stays consistent regardless of which diameter you choose.
What does the light look like — is it bright or ambient?
Both. The open bottom of the drum directs a focused pool of light downward onto the table or floor below — useful for dining and reading. At the same time, light filters through the dense cotton thread walls and scatters softly outward, adding a warm ambient glow around the pendant. The knotted fringe at the hem catches the light at the transition point. The overall effect is warm and textural rather than harsh or directional.
Will the fringe tangle or shed?
Cotton fringe on a pendant does not shed in normal use. Strands may arrive slightly tangled from packaging — smooth them gently by hand from top to bottom and they will fall back into place. Avoid pulling individual strands or using a comb. If the fringe gets dusty, brush lightly with a soft dry brush rather than pulling or shaking.
Is it dimmable?
The included bulb is a standard (non-dimmable) E27 LED. To add dimming, swap it for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED bulb and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch — available at any hardware store.
What interior styles does this suit?
The natural undyed cotton and knotted fringe sit comfortably in bohemian and coastal interiors, but the simple drum form and neutral cream tone also work in Japandi and minimalist rooms where texture matters more than pattern.
