What is the shade made of?

The frame is solid bamboo strips woven into an open lattice. The center globe is a nested light fixture. The bamboo comes untreated in its natural color and will age and darken over time.

Can I dim this light?

Yes. Install any dimmable E27 LED bulb you choose, and it will work with a compatible dimmer switch on your circuit.

Can I change the cord or drop length?

Yes. We build this to your ceiling height. Send us a photo and your ceiling measurement, and we'll plan the cable lengths to fit your space before we ship it.

Can this go on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?

The standard canopy is designed for a flat ceiling. We can build a custom canopy for your slope—just give us the pitch angle before you order.

Does it run on US household power?

Yes. The fixture is hardwired to your ceiling electrical box by an electrician and runs on standard 110–240V AC power.

Is it approved for US use and do you ship here?

Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states. This fixture is certified for North America.

Bamboo Frame Hanglamp

Hanglamp met bamboeframe in vijf maten

Handgeweven bamboeframe met een geneste bolvormige lamp in het midden. Het frame buigt uit als vleugels in drie verschillende vormen. Perfect boven een eettafel, keukeneiland of slaapkamer—overal waar u een standaard plafond en een E27-fitting heeft.

Waar is de kap van gemaakt?

Het frame bestaat uit massieve bamboestroken geweven in een open latwerk. De centrale bol is een geneste lichtfitting. Het bamboe is onbehandeld in zijn natuurlijke kleur en zal in de loop der tijd vergrijzen en donkerder worden.

Kan ik dit licht dimmen?

Ja. Installeer elke dimmbare E27 LED-gloeilamp naar keuze en deze werkt met een compatible dimmer op uw circuit.

Kan ik het snoer of de hanglengte wijzigen?

Ja. Wij bouwen deze op uw plafond hoogte. Stuur ons een foto en uw plafondmeting, en wij plannen de kabellengte zodat deze perfect in uw ruimte past voordat wij het verzenden.

Kan dit op een schuine of gewelfde plafond worden geplaatst?

De standaard koppelingsstuk is ontworpen voor een plat plafond. Wij kunnen een op maat gemaakt koppelingsstuk voor uw schuin plafond maken—geef ons gewoon de hellingshoek voordat u bestelt.

Werkt dit op Amerikaanse huishoudstroom?

Ja. De fitting is hardwired in uw plafond elektriciteitskasten door een elektricien en werkt op standaard 110–240V AC-stroom.

Is het goedgekeurd voor gebruik in de VS en verzenden jullie erheen?

Ja op beide vragen. We verzenden gratis naar alle 50 staten. Dit armatuur is gecertificeerd voor Noord-Amerika.

Een volledig handgemaakte bambooe en rotan verlichtingscollectie — waarbij we de industriële koude inruilen voor de warmte van de bergen, de veerkracht van rotan en zacht, wabi-sabi-licht, rechtstreeks bij u thuis.

Een Erfenis van Vakmanschap, Gevormd met de Hand

Geen machine kan de gevoeligheid van een ambachtsman voor rotanspanning namaken. Van het splitsen en schrapen van ruwe bamboeculms tot het ingewikkelde vlechtwerk van rotandraden — een enkele middelgrote bamboelamp kan een meester-ambachtsman verschillende dagen kosten.

Bij de gewrichten wordt geen druppel lijm gebruikt — alleen verfijnd tand-en-groef-werk en met de hand geknoopte rotanknopen. Dit is meer dan een verlichtingsarmatuur; het is een dialoog tussen mensenwerk en natuur door de eeuwen heen, met sporen van leven die nooit kunnen worden herhaald.

*Opmerking: De natuurlijke nerf, subtiele kleurvariatie en handgeweven afwerkingsmarkeringen op het bamboe- en rotanoppervlak zijn natuur's geschenk en bewijs van vakmanschap — niet onvolkomenheden.

Vijfjarig Bergbamboe & Indonesisch Rotan

We selecteren volwassen bamboe dat op grote hoogte meer dan vijf jaar is gegroeid als frame, gewaardeerd om zijn uitzonderlijke sterkte. Het geweven oppervlak gebruikt natuurlijk Indonesisch rotan dat met veroudering en lichtblootstelling een warme patina ontwikkelt.

Diepe Fysieke Carbonisering

Elk stuk ondergaat grondige stomen en fysieke carboniseringdehydratatie onder hoge temperatuur en druk — grondig schimmel- en insectenbestendig zonder chemische behandeling, gebouwd om jaren mee te gaan.

Goedkope Marktbewegingen

Goedkoop PE-plastic nepachtig rotan

Duidelijk kunststof en levenloos. Het geeft vaak een geur af onder lichtblootstelling en wordt snel bros met ouderdom, verliest elke premiumkwaliteit voor huisinrichting.

Onbehandeld Bamboe van Lage Kwaliteit

Fabrikanten slaan het complexe stoom- en carboniseringsproces over om kosten te sparen. In vochtige omgevingen wordt het snel zwart, beschimmeld of trekt insecten aan — een ernstig hygiënerisico in huis.

Gesmeed door Natuur en Vakmanschap

Elke lamp wordt geboren uit honderden nauwgezette stappen. Dit is niet simpel fabricage — het is een discipline.

Bergoogst & Splitsen

Premium volwassen bamboe wordt alleen in bepaalde seizoenen geoogst, daarna met de hand in gelijk grote strips gesplitst door veteraan-ambachtslieden. De groene buitenlaag wordt geschrapt, waardoor alleen de sterkste binnenlaag overblijft om het frame van de lamp te vormen.

Carbonisering op Hoge Temperatuur

Het ruwe bamboe en rotan worden in gespecialiseerde hogedruk-ovens gestoomd en gecarboniseerd, waarbij suikers en insectenlarven worden verwijderd en hun natuurlijke kleur wordt vastgelegd.

Geweven Schering en Inslag

Voorbij de moderne productielijn gebruiken ambachtslieden eeuwenoude technieken om rotandraden met de hand door het bamboeframe te weven. Elke knoop vereist nauwkeurige kracht en ervaring.

I got the smaller size, but its definitely still striking. The quality is surprisingly great and it was super easy to install. The base adds a nice touch. If youre not sure, definitely get it. Its worth it. I feel like I stepped into a holiday villa every time I look up in my kitchen!

Very nice looking lamp easy to assemble it throws a very nice lighting effect onto the walls we have it at a cottage with wood paneling the lighting effect is great the rope like cord blends in with the wood nicely the only beef is with the cheap hooks supplied to locate the cord to the ceiling but no biggy we bought a pair of nice hanging hooks .

Simple organic perfection in a light!

Needed something that would fit in a refined yet rustic small space without overpowering the other elements in the room AND echo the natural beauty outside of a large window - enter this light!

Pros: Delicate but came well packaged & easy to assemble & hang. The longer lightbulb (included) is perfect for the shape and size of the lamp and at full brightness it makes delicious patterns on the wall and ceiling. Dimmer wasnt on my wish list so to me its a fantastic bonus!

Part of the reason I selected this one was the hemp cord because I am going for a while cottage in the woods vibe & plastic or chain would kill that - but if you are looking for super sleek this may not be the best choice.

Cons: Not one that I could find! (I still have to figure out how to better manage cord placement, but thats same with any swag).

I definitely recommend this piece - would not hesitate to use it in other rooms if there was a need.
