"In 1952 werden enkele Zweedse hanglamen op de Amerikaanse markt geïntroduceerd. George Nelson was onder de indruk en wilde er een voor zijn kantoor. Installatieopmerkingen

Geen bekabeling vereist — steek in een standaard wandstopcontact en gebruik de inlineschakelaar of trekkoorschakelaar om het licht in te schakelen.
Bevestig de wandbeugel met de meegeleverde schroeven. De kap klipt op de beugel en draait op de zwenkbare scharnier.
Het 59" snoer kan langs de muur worden geleid of vrij hangen — snoerklemmen zijn verkrijgbaar om het netjes te houden.
Alleen voor binnenshuis gebruik. Niet geschikt voor badkamers of vochtige/natte locaties.

Wat inspireerde het Nelson Bubble Lamp-design?

In 1952 werden Zweedse hangende lampen op de Amerikaanse markt geïntroduceerd. George Nelson bewonderde ze, maar kon ze niet betalen — dus ontwierp hij zijn eigen versie. Nee. Het is een plug-in versie met een 59"-snoer en standaard wandcontactdoos — geen directe bedrading nodig. Monteer de meegeleverde wandbeugel met schroeven, clip de kap erop en plug in. Gebruik de inline schakelaar of trekkabel om het licht te bedienen.

I did so much research comparing this to the original design which cost more than twice the price of the lamp sold on this site. Not only is this price amazing, but also the design is identical in terms of the materials and dimensions. This lamp is gorgeous. Even knowing its size, I was awed by how substantial it is in person. Fairly easy to install, works with a dimmable smart bulb. Really elegant and makes a beautiful statement. Love it. Opted for the slower shipping and it arrived just under 6 weeks. Carefully packaged, pristine condition. Worth the wait. Ordering two more. Wish I could by furniture as well — this site has earned my trust!

Was tired of night stand lamps. Wanted something on the wall. These were easy to mount! Though the ground screw either the head or the screw body pokes into wall. So you actually have to drill it a bit so the mount sits flush. Paired with smart led bulbs!
