How much ceiling space does it need?

The smaller size (9.8″ diameter) suits bedrooms and hallways. The larger size (13.8″ diameter) works in living rooms and kitchens. Both sit flush, needing only the depth of the trim ring.

Does it work on sloped or vaulted ceilings?

Yes. A custom canopy can be built to fit. Contact support@vakkerlight.com to discuss your ceiling type.
