A modular pendant family — matte black geometric metal forms (linear bars, L-shaped angles, rings, cylinders, mini spheres) anchor opal white glass globes at their endpoints. The contrast between hard-edged black structure and soft white sphere defines every variant. Six shape categories, ten standard configurations, plus a large modular Cluster option. All in matte black + white opal glass.

This family spans 10 standard SKUs (Orbion-02 through Orbion-10) plus a custom Cluster option — each is a different geometric shape, not just a size variant. Look at the shape cards below carefully: Orbion-05 is the L-shape angle shown in the cover image, but you may be looking at our linear bar (02/03/06/07), ring (04/08), or sphere (09/10) variants instead. Confirm the SKU code matches the shape you want before checkout.

Linear Bar
All: 7.9″ depth × 7.9″ bar height
Horizontal bar with two opal globes at the ends. Best over dining tables, kitchen islands, and rectangular consoles.
L-Angle
L-shaped angled bracket with one globe at each leg. The most graphic of the configurations — best as a wall-adjacent accent or above a corner desk.
Ring
08: Ø20.5″ × 5.9″ tall
Circular black ring with opal globes spaced around the perimeter. Single statement piece over a round dining table or central foyer.
Cylinder Upright
Cylindrical drum form with the opal globe partially set into the bottom edge. Sculptural pendant for a side accent or low-ceiling foyer.
Mini Sphere
Smallest. A single opal globe on a thin black cable — order 3–5 for a cluster install over a kitchen island, or as bedside drops.
Cluster — Statement Modular
The largest configuration. Multiple Linear Bar and L-Angle units combined on one canopy to create an architectural multi-globe installation. Single finish combination across all 10+ SKUs — the black/white contrast is the design language of the family. Alternate finishes are not stocked.

- Hardwired ceiling install — licensed electrician recommended. Standard junction box for most SKUs; the Cluster requires a structurally rated junction box (verify with your electrician before ordering).
- Cable adjustment happens on-site after the canopy is mounted. On Linear Bar and L-Angle variants, the cables are independently adjustable — you can hang the two globes at the same height or stagger them. Test the staggering by holding the globes at different drops before final cable trim.
- E26/E27 LED bulbs sold separately. Recommended: 2700K warm-white LED, ≤7W per socket. Round bulb shapes (G80, G125 globe LEDs) match the opal globe geometry; standard A19 bulbs work but show their flat top through the opal glass under bright settings. Avoid frosted bulbs that defeat the opal-glow effect.
- Indoor dry locations only. Not for bathrooms, kitchens above stovetops, or covered outdoor areas — moisture damages the matte black powder coat.
Which Orbion configuration should I choose?
By application: over a 4–6 ft dining table → Linear Bar (02, 03, 06, or 07 depending on table length). Round dining table or central foyer → Ring (Orbion-04 or 08). Above a corner desk or wall-adjacent zone → L-Angle (Orbion-05). Stand-alone sculptural pendant → Cylinder (Orbion-09). Cluster over an island or stairwell → 3–5 × Mini Sphere (Orbion-10). What bulbs work best?
E26 (NA/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) socket — use LED bulbs only, ≤7W each (40W incandescent equivalent). Round bulb shapes (G80, G125 globe LEDs) match the opal globe form and disappear inside; standard A19 LEDs work but their flat top can show through the opal under bright settings. Avoid filament Edison bulbs — they conflict with the opal-glow design intent. 2700K warm-white is recommended; the opal glass softens it into a clean diffused glow.
Can I stagger the globe heights?
On the multi-globe variants (Linear Bar, L-Angle, Ring), each cable is independently adjustable — you can hang the globes at the same level or stagger them (e.g., one 30″ below the canopy, the other 36″). Decide during installation before trimming the cables to final length. The default ships at equal heights; staggered heights add visual rhythm and are well suited for kitchen islands and irregular floor plans.
Is it dimmable?
Yes — compatible with standard TRIAC (forward-phase) wall dimmers like Lutron Caséta or Leviton, paired with dimmable LED bulbs. All globes on one fixture dim together. The opal glass holds its character well at lower dim levels — even at 20% the globes still glow as soft spheres rather than dim dark spots.
What's the warranty?
2-year warranty on the frame, finishes, sockets, and wiring. Hand-blown opal globes that arrive broken in transit are replaced free with photos emailed within 7 days. After warranty, replacement globes are available as paid-service parts (kept in stock for 3 years after your order). E26/E27 bulbs are standard replaceable parts at any hardware store.
