Petra is a compact transitional table lamp built around a solid natural marble column — cut from real stone, finished with a tapered linen cone shade that softens the bulb into a quiet, library-warm pool of light. Choose from four marble colorways: forest green, pewter grey, cream beige, or rosso burgundy. Veining direction, color saturation, and pattern are unique to every piece.

Compact at 30 cm Ø × 39 cm tall (about 12″ × 15.4″) — sized for nightstands, console tables, and reading desks. E26 socket on a plug-in cord; bulb sold separately. The marble column is heavy enough to anchor the lamp securely against accidental bumps.

The warm tone reads naturally through the linen shade and complements all four marble colorways — bringing out the depth in dark stones and the warmth in lighter ones. Which colorway suits which room?
Cream Beige is the most versatile — it grounds modern, transitional, and Japandi rooms equally well. Pewter Grey reads cool and architectural, ideal for studies and minimalist living rooms. Forest Green warms up libraries, dens, and walnut-furnished interiors. Rosso Burgundy is the boldest — best as a single statement on a console or in a richly layered "unexpected red" room.
Why does my marble look different from the photo?
Marble is a natural stone — every block has its own veining direction, color saturation, and pattern. The photo shows a representative example, not the exact piece you'll receive. This is one of the reasons natural stone has remained a luxury material for thousands of years — no two pieces are alike.
What bulb should I buy?
Petra uses a single E26 (standard medium base) bulb, sold separately. We recommend a 40-60W equivalent LED in 2700-3000K warm white — the warm tone reads beautifully through the linen shade and complements every marble colorway. For dimming, choose a Triac-dimmable LED and pair with a standard Triac wall dimmer.
Is the marble heavy?
Yes — solid marble is substantial by design. The weight anchors the lamp securely on nightstands and console tables, so it won't tip from a passing brush or accidental cord tug. We recommend lifting from the marble base, not the shade or harp, when repositioning.
How do I clean the marble?
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth — never use acidic cleaners (lemon, vinegar, bleach) or abrasive sponges, which will permanently etch the natural surface. The marble ships pre-sealed; light dusting is all most owners ever need.
The shade arrived with creases — is that normal?
Yes. Linen shades are flat-packed during shipping, and minor creases relax within a few days of use as the fabric warms slightly under the bulb. For faster smoothing, run a steamer over the outside of the shade from a few inches away — never iron directly.
