I initially received a hard wired version, but I wanted a plug in wall lamp as there is a powerpoint directly below where I wanted the light, and I didn't want to pay an electrician to install the light for me. I was sent the parts to convert the wall lamp into a plug in and it works perfectly.
Although it took a while to receive my item (in Australia), I love my purchase and would buy again.

These are great lights!! I like the swivel of both the arm and the shade. A welcoming touch for guests. We put in a bedroom where side tables were not really an option, definitely not against the wall side of the bed.
