Handcrafted — slight variation expected
The embroidery and the carved wood are hand-finished. Stitch density, motif placement on the shade, and wood grain on the base will vary slightly from photos — part of the craft, not a defect. Email us for photos of in-stock pieces before ordering.
- Plug-and-play — no electrician needed. The cord has an in-line switch.
- Use one E27 bulb, max 40W. We recommend a warm-white LED bulb — much cooler than incandescent, important next to a linen shade. Bulb not included.
- Indoor and dry locations only. Keep away from sinks, showers, and outdoor exposure.
- Wipe the wood base with a soft, dry cloth. For dust on the linen shade, use a soft lint brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment.
- Avoid wet cleaning on the embroidered shade — water can spot the linen or pull stitches. For deeper cleaning, consult a professional textile cleaner.
Is the embroidery hand-stitched?
The grape-vine motif is embroidered onto the linen shade. Stitch density and motif placement vary slightly piece to piece, so the embroidery has a handmade character. Email us if you need details on hand vs machine stitching for a specific order.
Where does it fit best?
Bedside, vanity, console table, or office shelf. It's small (13.4″ wide × 14.2″ tall) and reads as decor when off — best as accent light, not as a reading lamp. Pair two for symmetry on a wide console or twin nightstands.
What bulb does it take?
One E27 medium-base bulb, max 40W (or LED equivalent), not included. We recommend a warm-white LED for soft glow and low heat — important close to a linen shade.
How do I clean the linen shade?
Dust gently with a soft lint brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. Avoid water and cleaners — they can spot the linen or pull stitches. For deeper cleaning, consult a professional textile cleaner.
Is there a warranty?
2-year warranty on wiring, socket, and switch. Hand-finished embroidery and natural wood-grain variation are not defects. Email support with photos within 7 days of delivery for any transit damage.
