The Blason uses E12 (US/CA) or E14 (EU/AU) small candelabra base bulbs, not standard E26/E27. Maximum 15W. Bulbs are not included—purchase the correct base for your region.

Yes. The Blason is designed for flexible mounting on both walls and ceilings, making it equally striking in either orientation depending on your space and design preference.

How does it create light patterns on surrounding surfaces?

Clear glass plates mounted on the brass fixture refract and capture light, projecting dramatic geometric patterns onto walls and surrounding surfaces—turning illumination into art.

What finish and color options are available?

The Blason features a warm gold-finish brass frame with a rich wine red glass shade—an elegant, theatrical color combination. Custom finishes available through our atelier.

At L 7.3″ × W 5.1″ × H 7.7″, it's compact and perfect for accent lighting in bathrooms, hallways, entryways, or bedrooms where you want dramatic visual impact without bulk.

What is the Blason made of?

Iron and brass body with a gold finish, paired with clear glass plates and a wine red glass shade. All glass is clear and refracts light.

Dimming capability depends on the bulb you select. Pair it with a dimmable candelabra bulb and a wall dimmer switch for adjustable brightness.

Where does the light shine?

The refracted light projects outward and upward across walls and surrounding surfaces, creating geometric shadow patterns. Works on a wall or ceiling.

What installation does it need?

Hardwired installation. An electrician connects it to an existing wall or ceiling junction box. A wall switch controls power.

Does it work on US power? Ships free?

Yes. The Blason accepts AC 110–240V and ships free to all 50 US states. For North America, order the E12 bulb base.
