Natural alabaster — each piece is one of a kind
Each panel is hand-shaped from natural alabaster, with its own veining, color shifts, and small inclusions. No two sconces will look identical — variation from photos is expected, not a defect. Email us for photos of in-stock pieces before ordering.
Deep projection — measure before ordering
This sconce projects 8.7″ (22 cm) from the wall, which is deeper than a typical sconce. Plan for clearance in hallways, beside doorways, and around traffic paths — install where it can sit unobstructed.
- Hardwired wall mount over a standard junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Use one E27 medium-base bulb, max 40W (or LED equivalent). Use LED only — incandescent and halogen bulbs run hot enough to discolor natural alabaster over time. Bulb not included.
- Controlled by a standard wall switch (on/off). Not designed for external dimmer compatibility — pair with a standard switched circuit.
- Indoor and dry locations only (IP20). Safe in damp vanity areas away from shower spray; not rated for wet zones. Confirm your local code before bathroom installation.
- Handle the alabaster panels gently during install — natural stone can chip if knocked. Once mounted, the sconce is stable; the risk is during unpacking and hanging.
- Dust the panels with a soft, dry cloth. No water or solvents on the stone; the stainless-steel armature can be wiped with a barely-damp microfiber.
Is the alabaster real natural stone?
Yes — each panel is hand-shaped from a single piece of natural alabaster. The stone's translucency lets a warm-white LED bulb glow through both faces. Veining, color, and small inclusions are unique to each piece.
Where does it fit best?
Foyers, gallery walls, stairwells, statement bedrooms, dining-room accents. Best on a flat unbroken wall where the staggered panels read against open background. The 8.7″ projection means it isn't a low-profile sconce — give it space.
What bulb does it take, and how bright is it?
One E27 medium-base bulb, max 40W (or LED equivalent), not included. Use a warm-white LED only — incandescent and halogen run hot enough to discolor natural alabaster over time. The light is soft and ambient through the stone — accent and mood light, not whole-room lighting. Pair with ceiling or table lights for general illumination.
Is it dimmable?
The sconce is controlled by a standard wall switch (on/off). It's not designed for external dimmer compatibility — using a dimmer on the wall circuit may cause flicker or shorten the LED life. Use a standard switched circuit.
What's the warranty?
2-year warranty on wiring, socket, and finish. Natural stone veining and inclusions are not defects; chips from drops or knocks during install or use, and alabaster discoloration from using an over-spec or non-LED bulb, are not covered. Email support with photos within 7 days of delivery for any transit damage.
