Solvara Travertine Pendant Lamp

Yellow travertine cylinder on a bronze stem. Comes as a single pendant or in multi-light clusters with round or rectangular canopies. Works in kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms, and tall foyers—the largest version hangs 118 inches.

Common questions

What's the difference between Model A and Model B?

Both have the same size (2.5" diameter, 7.3" drop for single pendants). Model A and Model B wire differently inside the canopy. Pick based on your electrician's recommendation or existing wiring setup.

How much vertical space do I need?

Single pendants drop 7.3 inches from the ceiling. The 3-light clusters drop 59.1 inches. The 5-light is 78.7 inches, the 7-light is 98.4 inches, and the 9-light is 118.1 inches. Measure from your ceiling to the surface below before you buy.

Can I use these in a bathroom?

Yes. Single pendants work well over bathroom vanities. The travertine stone handles moisture, but keep the fixture itself away from direct water spray like a shower head.

Does the travertine let light through or block it?

Light comes out the open bottom of each shade. The travertine walls glow warm yellow when the bulb is on. The stone itself does not let light pass through the sides or top.

What size Solvara works over my dining table?+

Single pendants suit intimate settings. For 4-seat round tables, use 3-Lights Round (∅ 9.8″). For 6+ seat rectangular tables, choose 3-Lights Long Canopy (L 23.6″). Larger tables work with 5, 7, or 9-light configurations. Contact us for custom layouts.

What height do I need between the ceiling and table?+

Standard cable length is 59.1″ per head, adjustable and extendable on request. Minimum 7.5 feet of clear ceiling height is typical. Multi-head fixtures (5, 7, 9-lights) require 6.5 to 9.8 feet depending on configuration. We can customize drop heights.

Is each travertine shade unique?+

Yes. Every Solvara is carved from natural yellow travertine — veining, pore distribution, fossil inclusions, and amber tone differ on each piece. Your lamp's shade will be a singular geological object, unrepeatable by craft.

What bulb do I need, and can I use LED?+

E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) socket — bulb not included. LED and Edison filament bulbs are compatible. A 4–6W warm-white LED at 2700–3000 K is recommended to show warm amber pore-glow through the travertine and downward light.

Can I customize the configuration beyond standard options?+

Yes. Beyond standard 2, 3, 5, 7, or 9-light layouts, we offer custom multi-head arrangements — different counts, canopy sizes, drop heights, or mixed Model A+B. Contact our team before ordering to discuss your specific needs.
