Tidal Stair Chandelier with Hanging Glass Butterflies
A vertical cascade chandelier with dozens of hand-blown glass butterfly pendants suspended on thin wires from a ceiling canopy. Each butterfly catches light as it hangs, creating depth and movement in tall spaces. Best for double-height foyers, stairwells, atriums, or any room where you need to fill 5 to 10 feet of vertical space.
What you actually get
Each pendant is molded glass in your choice of Clear & Gold or Clear & Amber. The fixture shown holds roughly 100+ butterflies depending on size. No two are identical.
Small (23.6″ diameter × 59.1″ drop), Medium (31.5″ diameter × 78.7″ drop), and Large (39.4″ diameter × 118.1″ drop). Pick the one that fits your ceiling height and room width.
All variants come in Warm Light (fixed 2700K) or Triac Warm Dimming (works with standard dimmers). Dimmable versions cost $100 more.

How many butterflies come with this fixture?
The exact count depends on the size. The smallest version (V1 / V2) has fewer than the largest (V9 / V10), but Vakkerlight does not publish a fixed number per variant. See the product photos for reference—each one shows a typical installation.
Can I use a wall dimmer with the dimmable versions?
Yes. The Triac Warm Dimming variants (V2, V4, V6, V8, V10, V12, and the customized and V17+ series) work with any standard trailing-edge or leading-edge wall dimmer rated for incandescent or LED bulbs.
What's the difference between Clear & Gold and Clear & Amber glass?
Both pair clear glass butterflies with warm-toned butterflies. Gold has a richer, deeper tone; Amber is lighter and more honey-colored. See the color samples in the product images to compare in person.
What's the longest this fixture can hang?
118.1 inches (just under 10 feet). That's the drop on V9, V10, V11, V12 and the customized large versions, plus V21–V24. Smaller versions drop 59.1″ or 78.7″ respectively.

What ceiling height do I need for the Tidal Stair Chandelier?+
The largest model reaches 118.1″ tall. Measure your ceiling height and allow 59″ adjustable hanging cable (extendable upon request). For a double-height foyer, 14–16 feet minimum is ideal.
Which size fits a stairwell best?+
The 39.4″ diameter × 118.1″ height (250–320 pieces) suits most residential stairwells. For grand foyers, the 59″ diameter model creates maximum drama. We customize dimensions in our atelier.
Should I choose Clear & Gold or Clear & Amber?+
Gold delivers warm, opulent light for luxury interiors. Amber offers softer, ethereal illumination. Both pair with warm (3000K) or dimmable settings. Contact us at info@vakkerlighting.com to see samples.
Can I customize the size or number of glass pieces?+
Yes. Our atelier builds custom versions with adjusted diameter, height, and piece count. Email info@vakkerlighting.com to discuss your specifications and timeline with our designers.
Is installation difficult?+
Hardwired installation requires a ceiling junction box and electrician. Includes adjustable hanging cable and mounting bracket. An installation guide is provided. Dimmable versions need a Triac dimmer switch (sold separately).
