Three stacked rings of natural raffia and jute, each tier slightly narrower than the one above — the stepped silhouette reads as a tiered pagoda or layered hat from the side, and as three concentric warm rings from below when lit. Raffia is a palm-leaf fiber, finer and more supple than jute rope; the two materials together give each tier a varied surface texture that catches light differently across the shade. The black cord and canopy stay recessive against the ceiling. Three sizes start at Ø50 cm and go up to Ø80 cm, suited to medium and large dining rooms and open-plan spaces. One E27 3000K bulb included.

Raffia and jute are natural plant-based materials. Slight variation in fiber tone, wrap tension, and surface texture between units is inherent and not a defect. Keep away from sustained moisture — water weakens natural fiber over time.

All three sizes share the three-tier stacked structure. Height grows substantially with diameter — the XL (Ø80 × H58 cm) is notably tall at 22.8″. For dining use, hang the bottom of the shade 70–80 cm above the table; on a 2.4 m (8 ft) ceiling the XL may require a short cord length. Measure before ordering.

Raffia + jute · three ring frames
Three separate circular ring frames are stacked vertically, each slightly smaller than the one above. Raffia and jute fiber are wound vertically around each frame's side face, filling the band with close-packed natural fiber wraps. The result is a solid, structured tier with a textured surface and no interior liner visible from outside.
What is raffia?
Raffia is a natural fiber extracted from the leaves of the Raphia palm — finer and more supple than jute rope, with a slightly shinier surface. It has been used in basketry, weaving, and textile craft for centuries. Combined with jute on the tier faces, it adds tonal warmth and surface variation to the shade.

- Turn off power at the breaker. A licensed electrician is recommended. For the Ø80 cm (XL), confirm your ceiling junction box is weight-rated for the fixture — three stacked ring frames make this the heaviest variant in the range.
- Cord (up to 1.2 m) adjusts at the black canopy. For dining, hang the bottom of the shade 70–80 cm above the table. Note: the XL is H58 cm tall — on a 2.4 m (8 ft) ceiling, the cord will need to be set very short. Measure ceiling-to-table distance before ordering.
- Screw the included 3000K E27 bulb into the socket. The open base means the bulb is visible from below — a globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb suits the aesthetic. Do not exceed the socket's rated wattage.
- For dimming: the included bulb may not be dimmable — check packaging. Replace with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a compatible leading- or trailing-edge dimmer switch.
- Raffia and jute fiber: dust each tier with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum attachment, working along the direction of the fiber wraps. Do not wet-clean — moisture weakens both raffia and jute fiber and can cause the wraps to slacken or discolor. Keep away from cooking steam, sustained humidity, and open windows in wet weather.
- Black canopy and cord: dry cloth only. Avoid abrasive pads and liquid cleaners on the canopy finish.

Raffia is a natural fiber extracted from the leaves of the Raphia palm — it is finer, more supple, and slightly shinier than jute rope, with a warm golden-tan tone. Jute is a plant-stem fiber with a rougher, more matte surface. Both are natural, biodegradable, and share the same warm tan palette; the combination adds surface variety within the single-tone shade body. Raffia has been used in traditional basketry and weaving across Africa, Madagascar, and the Pacific for centuries.
Which size should I choose?
The Medium (Ø50 cm) suits a 2–4 seat dining table or bedroom in a 10–15 m² room. The Large (Ø60 cm) anchors a 4–6 seat dining room or open-plan living area up to 20 m². The XL (Ø80 cm, 31.5″) is the statement size — it suits a large formal dining room, restaurant, great room, or double-height space. The XL is also H58 cm tall; on a standard 2.4 m (8 ft) ceiling this requires setting the cord very short — measure before ordering. For tables longer than 200 cm, two Large pendants in a line often look better than one XL.
Is it dimmable?
Dimming depends on the bulb. The included 3000K E27 bulb may not be dimmable — check its packaging. For reliable dimming, replace with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a compatible leading- or trailing-edge (Triac) wall dimmer switch.
What interior styles does this suit?
The three-tier stacked silhouette and natural raffia-jute surface work in Japandi, coastal, bohemian, and organic modern interiors. The stepped profile has enough structural presence to anchor large open-plan rooms without requiring color — the warm tan palette integrates with oak, linen, rattan, and travertine surfaces.
