What size kitchen island or dining table does the Brixton Oar fit?+

At 49.2″ long, it suits kitchen islands 48–54″ wide and dining tables 54–66″ long. The 59″ adjustable cable allows height customization for your space. Contact our atelier for sizing beyond these ranges.

How high should my ceiling be to hang this pendant?+

Minimum 8′ ceiling height is recommended with the adjustable cable at its shortest setting. The fixture hangs 9.8″ deep, so subtract that from floor-to-ceiling distance and account for table clearance.

Which finish works better—Black & Nickel or Walnut Wood Color & Gold?+

Black & Nickel suits contemporary kitchens; Walnut Wood Color & Gold complements warm, mid-century or transitional interiors. Both pair with white glass shades. Choose based on your cabinetry and hardware finishes.

Can I adjust the hanging height or customize the size?+

Yes. The 59″ cable is adjustable and can be lengthened as needed. Custom sizes are available through our atelier—contact us to discuss dimensions beyond 49.2″.

What bulbs does it use and how do I control the light?+

Accepts LED or Edison bulbs (E26 or E27 base). Hardwired to an external wall switch (not included) for on/off control. Compatible with AC 110–240V in North America, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.
