Can this chandelier be installed on a sloped ceiling?

Yes. The Alabaster Balls Cluster is sloped-ceiling compatible for angles up to 30°. The adjustable hanging cable (59″) can be lengthened as required for perfect positioning.

How are the pendant heights adjusted after installation?

Included is a 59″ adjustable hanging height cable that can be lengthened as needed. This allows you to customize drop length in your space during installation for optimal visual balance.

Can I customize the size or head count?

Absolutely. Vakkerlight hand-builds every chandelier in our own atelier. Contact us to discuss custom configurations beyond the standard 3, 5, 7, 9, 16, and 18-head options.

What bulb type and wattage does this use?

What bulb does this chandelier use?

Each sphere accommodates one G9 bi-pin bulb. Replaceable G9 LED bulbs are energy-efficient and readily available worldwide. We recommend warm white (2700K–3000K) LED bulbs to illuminate and accentuate the natural, cloud-like veining of the alabaster stone.

Are the spheres real stone or glass?

Every sphere is crafted from 100% authentic natural alabaster stone, not molded glass or cast resin. Because alabaster is an organic quarried mineral, every sphere features its own distinct veining, clouding, and crystalline character, ensuring a truly one-of-a-kind installation.

How heavy is the chandelier and each sphere?

Each natural alabaster sphere weighs approximately 0.9 kg (approx. 2.0 lbs). Total weight depends on the chosen configuration (e.g., 3 heads ≈ 2.7 kg / 6.0 lbs; 16 heads ≈ 14.4 kg / 31.7 lbs plus canopy). Always ensure your ceiling junction box and support structure are rated to support the total load.

How many alabaster spheres are included with each version?

V1 includes 3 spheres; V2 includes 5 spheres; V3 includes 7 spheres; V4 and V5 each include 9 spheres; V6 includes 16 spheres; and V7 includes 18 spheres. Higher sphere counts are engineered to gracefully distribute light through deep multi-level drops.

Can I adjust how long each wire is during installation?

Yes. Each sphere is suspended by an independent steel cable equipped with a quick-release collar at the canopy. Your installer can easily adjust individual cable drops on-site to create an organic cascade, spiral, or tight cluster suited to your specific ceiling height.

Will this work over my staircase or double-height foyer?

Yes. This series was engineered expressly for high-volume stairwells and atriums. Clearance drops range from 59.1″ (V1) up to 236.2″ (nearly 20 feet) on larger models. Measure your vertical sightlines from the upper landing, and feel free to send us your ceiling height for a customized drop layout.

What are the canopy and shade finishes?

Canopy & Hardware: Architectural matte black finish (available in circular or square ceiling plates with matching low-profile suspension cables).
