Used this to light up a dark corner behind my sectional. The reach is just rightits over the sofa without getting in the way of the TV.

For the price, the quality is excellent. The heavy gold base looks premium and keeps the whole thing grounded. highly recommend.

The heavy base is a game-changer. My old arc lamp used to lean forward too much, but this one feels very grounded.

The metal construction feels durable. Its definitely iron/metal as described, not cheap plastic. Feels like it will last a long time.

Everything arrived well-packaged. The shade was perfect, no dents or creases.

Assembly was pretty straightforward. The pieces are a bit heavy (which is good for stability), so you might want a second person to help hold the stem while you screw it in.

The light diffusion is great. The drum shade softens the bulb so it's not blinding, but it still lights up the whole corner effectively.

I was worried about an arc lamp tipping over, but this one sits very firmly on the floor. No wobbling.

Great for reading. The height is perfect so you don't hit your head on it when you stand up from the couch.
