Dimming depends on the bulb you choose. The fixture has a push-button switch; if you install a dimmable LED or Edison bulb and a separate dimmer, you can dim the light.

Which way does the light point?

The sphere hangs downward and forward from the wall arm, so it suits mounting beside a mirror or bed, or above a console or washbasin.

What do I need to install it?

Hardwired installation into a standard wall junction box. Mounting hardware and instructions included. Professional installation is recommended.
