A dome globe travertine arc sconce — a natural-travertine dome shade over an opal-glass globe, hung from a black arc arm with a walnut-wood ball at the tail, on a round walnut backplate. The opal globe diffuses a G9 bulb into soft glare-free light under the stone dome. H15.7″, 8.3″ projection, bulb included. For bedsides, hallways, and accent walls.

About natural travertine
The dome is hand-carved from natural travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding vary piece to piece — these are core characteristics of the stone, not defects or damage. No two domes are identical.
About the opal glass & walnut
The globe is hand-blown opal glass — minor variations in thickness, texture, and shape are characteristic of the process. The backplate, holder, and tail ball are real walnut wood, with grain and tone varying by piece.

- Hardwired wall install — a licensed electrician is recommended. Mounts flush via the round walnut backplate over a standard US junction box.
- The arc arm and tail ball set the balance; mount the backplate level so the dome hangs plumb.
- The G9 bulb is included and replaceable inside the opal globe; a 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest diffused glow.
- Dimmable with a compatible dimmable G9 bulb and a wall dimmer (not included).
- Travertine is a porous natural stone — open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the material, not flaws or damage. The opal globe is hand-blown, so minor shape and texture variations are normal.
- The walnut parts are real wood — grain and tone vary by piece. Indoor dry locations only (IP20); keep clear of direct water, as stone and wood both absorb moisture.
How is this different from the ribbed travertine arc sconce?
Same arc arm, different shade and light. Both use the black arc arm, walnut backplate, and walnut tail ball. This Dome Globe version pairs a travertine dome with an opal-glass globe for a soft, diffused glow on a G9 bulb. The Ribbed Arc sconce is a horizontal-ribbed travertine cylinder with an open base on an E27 bulb. Pick Dome Globe for a softer, lantern-like light; pick Ribbed for a textured cylinder.
The travertine has holes and pits — is that a defect?
No — those are natural to travertine. Open pores, surface pitting, and color banding are core characteristics of the stone, not flaws or shipping damage. Each dome is hand-carved, so no two are exactly alike; that variation is the point of a natural-stone fixture.
What bulb does it use, is it included, and is it dimmable?
One G9 bulb, included. A 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest glow through the opal globe. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately).
Does the tail ball do anything, or is it decorative?
It's both. The turned walnut ball visually balances the arc arm and gives the sconce its signature counter-weight look. It doesn't move or adjust — the arm is fixed once mounted.
Can I install it in a bathroom, and what's the warranty?
Only away from water — it's rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it clear of shower or tub spray. Travertine is porous and the walnut parts are real wood; both absorb moisture. 2-year warranty on the fixture and wiring; G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts.
