Selunia Alabaster Pendant Lamp
Hand-blown alabaster globe with brass hardware. The stone has natural veining. Comes in single pendants or cascading multi-head configurations. Works in bedrooms, kitchens, foyers, and stairwells.

Common questions
What is the shade made of?
Hand-blown natural alabaster stone imported from Spain, with brass hardware. Each shade is translucent when lit and has unique natural veining—no two are identical.
Can I dim this pendant?
Yes. We build dimming in as a made-to-order option so you can run it with a standard triac dimmer switch.
Can I change the cord or drop length?
Yes. Single pendants ship at a standard drop, but we cut cable to your exact ceiling height as part of the build—just tell us how high your ceiling is when you order.
Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?
Yes, we can build a custom canopy for any pitch. Standard canopies suit flat ceilings, so let us know your slope angle before you order and we'll make one that sits flush.
Does it run on US household power?
Yes. It's hardwired to your ceiling electrical box (an electrician will wire it) and accepts AC 110–240V, so US power works fine.
Is this approved for US use and do you ship here?
Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states. The fixture is certified for North America.

Which size should I hang over my dining table or kitchen island?+
The tall column Ø 4.7″ × H 8.3″ works well as a single pendant. For larger surfaces, group 3, 5, or 7 heads at staggered heights: 3 heads span Ø 7.9″, 5 heads Ø 11.8″, and 7 heads Ø 13.8″. Our atelier can customize cluster arrangements on request.
What bulb does the Selunia use, and can I use LED?+
One G9 compact base bulb (not included). We recommend warm white LED, 2700–3000K—it stays cool, lasts longer than halogen, and brings out the honey veining in the stone. LED or halogen both work.
Why does my pendant look different from the photos?+
Natural Spanish alabaster has unique veining and tone in every piece. Variation is the character of real stone, not a defect. Each Selunia is one-of-a-kind because it comes from a quarried block.
What is the minimum ceiling height required for the taller pendant?+
The tall column is Ø 4.7″ × H 8.3″ with a 59″ adjustable cable. Total drop depends on how you hang it; the cable can be shortened at installation or extended upon request before shipping.
How do I care for the alabaster shade?+
Handle with clean, dry hands and avoid impact—natural stone can chip. Dust gently when the bulb is off and cool. For indoor use only; not suitable for bathrooms or damp locations.
