A hand-woven jute drum pendant with a scalloped border of white wood beads — the kind of detail that takes time to make and reads immediately as handcraft. Natural jute rope is wound tightly around the drum frame in horizontal bands, building a warm, textured wall that filters light softly at the sides. At the lower edge, strands of small white wood beads loop in gentle scallops — a decorative border that catches the light and adds a quiet rhythm to the form. A natural wood canopy completes the material story. A 3000K E27 LED bulb is included.

A 3000K warm-white E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant — hang it, wire it, screw in the bulb, and it is ready. Any standard E27 bulb also fits the socket if you prefer a different color temperature.
Hardwired ceiling install
This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box. The twisted cord is adjustable — trim or bundle to your ceiling height during installation. A licensed electrician is recommended. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.

The included 3000K warm-white LED is ready to use out of the box. The open-bottom drum directs light downward; a round globe or A-shape bulb distributes it most evenly. To dim, swap for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac wall dimmer switch.

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling connection to the junction box.
- Adjust the twisted cord to your preferred length before securing the natural wood canopy. For dining tables, hang the bottom of the wood bead border 70–80 cm (28–32″) above the tabletop.
- Screw the included E27 3000K LED bulb into the socket and restore power. A round globe or A-shape bulb distributes light most evenly through the open bottom. Any standard E27 base also fits.
- To dim: replace the included bulb with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.
- Dust the jute body with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. Wipe lightly with a barely damp cloth if needed — allow to dry fully before switching the light back on. Avoid prolonged moisture, which can soften jute rope over time. Wipe the wood bead border and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth.

Which size should I choose?
Unlike the four-size drum pendant in our range, this one scales both diameter and height proportionally — so each size feels right in its own way. The small (Ø40 × H28 cm) suits a 2-person table, a bedside, or a reading nook. The medium (Ø50 × H33 cm) is the most versatile solo pendant, working over a 2–4 person dining table or compact island. The large (Ø60 × H38 cm) is a full statement piece for a 4–6 person table or a bedroom focal point.
What is jute, and how does it age?
Jute is a natural plant fiber — coarser and more textured than cotton, with a warm golden-brown tone that comes from the plant itself. It is one of the most sustainable natural fibers available. In normal indoor conditions, jute is durable and holds its shape well. Over time it may soften very slightly in tone, which most people find adds to the character of the piece. Keep it away from moisture — jute can weaken if repeatedly damp.
Will the wood beads stay in place?
Yes — the white wood beads are strung on cord and fixed at each scallop point along the lower hem. They do not rattle or shift in normal use. If a strand is displaced during shipping, it can be gently pressed back into its scallop position by hand. The beads are decorative rather than structural and should not be pulled or forced.
Is it dimmable?
The included bulb is a standard (non-dimmable) E27 LED. To add dimming, swap it for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED bulb and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch — available at any hardware store.
