I actually got this as a gift for a friend who lives in a teeny tiny loft condo. She needed a reading light to be adjustable over her spot on the sofa but she didnt want another floor lamp that shed have to try to wedge behind a table. And she didnt want a table lamp taking up space on her side table. So, this option, which mounts to the wall and simply plugs inwas an ideal format.
The construction is mostly wood, except for the metal shade. Its simple and elegant and understated.
I installed this lamp above my chaise lounge. Easily swings over to read or sew.Price was good. Easy to install.
I'm very happy with this lamp. I didn't realize how happy I would be with it until I actually installed it. Installation was quick - I marked my holes, drilled them, and screwed it in. The instructions are helpful, but it's an intuitive process. Now I have light on my couch that I've never had before and I'm so excited about it. The arms are not heavy, but not light enough to move on their own. It maintains position without adjustment
Easy to assemble and even easier to mount. A very attractive and convenient lamp and it swivels all every whichaway. I mounted it on the wall about in the middle of my desk and can easily reach every part of my long desk with loads of light.
I ordered this for my son's room so he didn't have to keep a lamp on his bedside table. He can move it around to get light where he needs it. It has an industrial and farmhouse look. A perfect mixture of the two. It's very easy to install. I only had a couple of screws to hang it. It's a beautiful addition to his bedroom. I definitely recommend it.
