A double-layer cotton drum pendant with a stepped profile — a wider lower tier sits beneath a narrower upper tier, creating a layered silhouette that reads as architectural rather than simply round. Both tiers are wrapped in natural cotton thread over an iron frame; the bottom is closed with a frosted diffuser panel that spreads light evenly downward with no visible hot spot. Three fine steel wires suspend the shade from a white ceiling canopy. A 9W E27 bulb is included.

A 9W E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant — no separate purchase needed. The bottom diffuser panel spreads light evenly, so the included bulb is sufficient for most dining and living room applications. Any standard E27 bulb also fits the socket.
Hardwired ceiling install
This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box via three suspension wires and a 1.2 m adjustable cord. A licensed electrician is recommended. Always turn off power at the breaker before installation.

- Switch off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended for hardwired ceiling connection to the junction box.
- Connect the three suspension wires to the canopy plate and adjust the cord to your preferred length (maximum 1.2 m). Hang the shade level — the three-wire configuration allows fine adjustment of each wire to correct any tilt.
- Screw the included 9W E27 bulb into the socket and restore power. For more output, swap for a higher-lumen E27 — any standard base fits. For dimming, use a Triac-dimmable E27 LED with a Triac wall dimmer.
- Dust the cotton thread body with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum with a brush attachment. Wipe the frosted diffuser bottom and canopy with a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid moisture on the cotton thread body.

Yes — a 9W E27 LED bulb ships with every pendant. The frosted diffuser bottom makes efficient use of the 9W output, spreading light evenly across the room. For a brighter result, swap for a higher-lumen E27 bulb — any standard E27 base fits the socket.
Which size should I choose?
The small (Ø45 cm) works over a 2–4 person dining table or a compact living room. The medium (Ø55 cm) is the most versatile — suited to a 4–6 person table or a mid-size living area. The large (Ø65 cm) suits a 6–8 person table or an open-plan space where the double-layer silhouette can be appreciated from across the room.
What does "double-layer" mean — how does it look?
The shade has two concentric drum tiers: a narrower upper section and a wider lower section, both wrapped in cotton thread. The step between the two tiers creates a shadow line that gives the pendant a more structured, architectural look than a single-drum shade. From below, the frosted diffuser glows evenly — no visible bulb, no hot spot.
How is this different from the single-layer cotton drum pendant?
The single-layer cotton fringe drum has an open bottom with a fringe hem — light falls directly down through the opening and the fringe adds a bohemian, decorative detail. This double-layer drum has a closed frosted bottom that diffuses light evenly with no fringe — the look is cleaner and more architectural, suited to minimalist and Japandi interiors rather than bohemian ones.
Is it dimmable?
The included bulb is a standard (non-dimmable) E27 LED. To add dimming, swap it for a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a Triac-compatible wall dimmer switch.
Will it hang level?
Yes — the three-wire suspension system allows you to fine-tune the hang during installation. If the shade tilts slightly, adjust the length of each individual wire at the canopy plate until the bottom diffuser is level. This takes a minute or two and requires no special tools.
