How much ceiling height do I actually need?

The fixture drops 98.4 inches (8.2 feet) from the ceiling mount to the lowest piece. Your total ceiling height needs to be at least 9 feet to clear furniture below. Stairwells and double-height foyers are ideal.

Is this made of metal or plastic pieces?

The product photos show solid black elements suspended on strings from a metal frame. The exact material composition isn't listed in the variant data, so contact support for that detail.

Can I use this in a room 8 feet tall?

No. The fixture alone is 98.4 inches (8.2 feet). You'd have no clearance below it. You need a ceiling at least 9 feet high, or a double-height space like a stairwell.

What's the difference between V1 and V2?
