La lampe à suspension conçue en 1950 met l'accent sur l'approche innovante et expérimentale du designer. A cette époque, le matériau de prédilection de l'industrie de l'éclairage était le verre. Mais lorsque le designer a reçu les premiers échantillons de méthacrylate en 1949-1950, un nouveau plastique polymère beaucoup plus résistant et plus léger que le verre, ses expériences l'ont conduit à une nouvelle lampe à suspension, le modèle 2065. Comme dans tant de ses créations, il a continué travailler avec différentes compositions, dimensions et variantes de couleurs au cours des années suivantes.

Le modèle 2065 se compose d'un diffuseur composé de deux soucoupes opalescentes jointes, suspendues au plafond avec un auvent en aluminium peint en noir. La simplicité du design elliptique design et la légèreté des matériaux en font un luminaire apparemment en apesanteur.

Easy Install & Classy Look

I absolutely adore these pendant lights! I had a professional install them and it they commented on the fact that it was an easy install. They did it pretty quickly. The cord was very long and he cut it based on my preference and left extra cord on the inside in case I changed my mind and wanted it lower. But there should be no concern about cord length here. It comes with specifics about what kind of bulbs are suggested which is great for me. It upgrades the look of my open kitchen/ dining and living room space. I went with
