Carrara Alabaster Pendant Lamp
Hand-carved white alabaster shade with a centered sphere cutout that glows warm. The light diffuses through translucent stone. Single heads work over nightstands and kitchen islands. Multi-head versions drop up to 13 feet for double-height foyers and stairwells.
What you actually get
Material is natural stone carved with a centered sphere detail. Shade is translucent so light spreads soft and even.
Single pendants start at 7.1" wide. Cascading multi-head fixtures go up to 23.6" diameter and 157" tall for tall spaces.
Alabaster is dense. Single fixtures are manageable. Larger cascades require solid ceiling support and proper wiring runs.

Common questions
How much light does one alabaster shade actually give off?
Each shade has one light source that glows through translucent stone. The sphere cutout lets light spread outward and downward. It's ambient task light, not a bright overhead flood. One head is good for a small table. Larger fixtures with 3, 5, or more heads give more overall brightness across a bigger area.
What's the actual weight, and can my ceiling handle it?
Alabaster is heavy stone. The product spec doesn't list per-fixture weight, but carved stone fixtures require ceiling boxes rated for pendant loads. A single V1 or V2 will work with a standard box. Cascades with 5, 7, 9, or 15 heads are much heavier and need reinforced ceiling support. Have an electrician check your ceiling box before hanging.
Can I hang a 3-head or 5-head fixture in a regular 8-foot ceiling?
No. V3 is 59" tall, V4 is 78.7" tall, and V5 is 98.4" tall. These are the pendant drop lengths alone, plus the canopy takes more space. You need at least 60" of clear drop for V3, 80" for V4, and 100" for V5. They're made for double-height spaces like open foyers, atriums, and tall stairwells.
Is the finish just white, or does alabaster vary in tone?
All variants come in white alabaster. Natural stone does have slight veining and tone variation because it's carved from real stone, not molded plastic. The finish is matte from the hand-carved surface. Every piece will look similar but not identical.
