Leontine Glass Pendant Lamp
A brass-and-clear-glass pendant fixture with a teardrop shape that comes in single and multi-head configurations. The glass bowl is transparent so you see the bulb and brass socket inside. Works in bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, foyers, and stairwells—the largest versions drop nearly 16 feet.
What you actually get
Each pendant has a tapered glass shade with a brass collar and socket visible inside. The glass is transparent, so the lit bulb shows through.
Start with one pendant (V1) or build up to 21 hanging from one canopy (V8). Larger counts need higher ceilings and stronger junction boxes.
Brushed brass hardware and canopy throughout all variants. Pairs with warm white or daylight bulbs.

Common questions
Can I hang just one pendant, or do I have to buy a multi-head cluster?
V1 is a single pendant. It's 4.9 inches wide and drops 11.8 inches. No canopy cluster needed—it screws to a standard fixture box.
What's the maximum drop if I want the longest possible hang?
V8 with 21 heads reaches 197 inches total height—that's 16 feet 5 inches. You need a 14-foot ceiling minimum and a structural junction box.
Do all the pendants on a multi-head fixture hang at different lengths?
Yes. On V2 through V8, the individual drops are staggered so they don't all hit at the same point. The longest single pendant is always the center one.
Is the brass finish brushed or polished, and will it tarnish?
The finish is brushed brass. Over time, brass will develop a patina. It won't 'tarnish' in the rust sense, but the shine will mellow and darken.
How much does each configuration weigh?
Weight scales with the number of heads: 3 lights ≈ 17.6 lb (8 kg), 5 lights ≈ 26.5 lb (12 kg), 7 lights ≈ 37.5 lb (17 kg), 9 lights ≈ 50.7 lb (23 kg), 11 lights ≈ 57.3 lb (26 kg), 15 lights ≈ 72.8 lb (33 kg), and 21 lights ≈ 103.6 lb (47 kg). Larger configurations require a structural junction box rated for the additional weight.

Is this pendant right for my kitchen island?+
Yes. The 3, 5, or 7-head versions (59″–98″ tall, 8″–16″ diameter) work well over islands. Custom sizing available from our atelier to fit your exact space.
What are the materials and finish?+
Solid brass fixture with hand-blown clear glass shades. E14 LED or Edison bulb compatible. Brass & clear finish only.
How is it installed and what ceiling height do I need?+
Hardwired ceiling mount with 59″ adjustable hanging cable—extendable on request. Minimum 8–9 ft ceiling for single pendants; larger multi-head versions require proportionally higher ceilings.
Can I customize the Leontine?+
Yes. We hand-build each fixture in our atelier. Custom cable lengths, head counts, and sizing are available—contact us for bespoke options.
