This pendant hardwires to a ceiling junction box — it is not plug-in. The brass-tone chain is up to 1.2 m, adjustable at the canopy during installation. A licensed electrician is recommended. For the Ø80 cm size, confirm your ceiling junction box is weight-rated before hanging.
Natural jute and cotton — minor variation between units
Jute rope and cotton fringe are natural materials. Slight differences in rope tone, fringe length, and bead positioning between units are inherent to the material and not manufacturing defects. Keep away from sustained moisture — water weakens jute fiber over time.

Warm tan jute rope forms the drum body; white cotton fringe hangs from the base edge — the color contrast between the two materials is the visual signature of the fixture.
Wood bead accents

Natural jute rope wraps the drum frame. At the base ring, natural wood beads are attached at regular intervals — each bead anchors a strand of white cotton fringe that hangs freely below. The fringe length is consistent around the circumference; the beads create a visible transition line between the tan jute and the white fringe.
Brass-tone chain · Ø10 cm canopy
A gold-tone linked chain (up to 1.2 m, adjustable) connects to a brass-finish Ø10 cm ceiling canopy. The chain and canopy share the same warm brass tone — the metallic hardware sits visually between the natural tan jute and the warm 3000K light rather than contrasting with either.

- Turn off power at the breaker before installation. A licensed electrician is recommended. For the Ø80 cm size, confirm your ceiling junction box is rated for the fixture's weight before installation — the larger drum and longer fringe make this the heaviest variant.
- Brass-tone chain (up to 1.2 m) adjusts at the canopy. For dining use, hang the bottom of the shade 70–80 cm (28–32″) above the table surface. The Ø80 cm at H36 cm is taller — account for this in chain-length planning.
- Screw the included 3000K E27 bulb into the socket. The open base means the bulb is visible from below — a globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb works well aesthetically. Do not exceed the socket's rated wattage.
- For dimming: the included bulb may not be dimmable — check its packaging. Replace with a Triac-dimmable E27 LED and pair with a compatible leading- or trailing-edge dimmer switch for reliable dimming.
- Jute rope body: dust with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum attachment. Do not wet-clean — water weakens natural jute fiber and can cause discoloration or slackening. Keep away from cooking steam and humidity.
- White cotton fringe: use a lint roller or soft brush to remove dust. Do not wet-clean or steam. Separate tangled strands by hand — do not pull or cut. The fringe will sway gently in airflow from vents or fans; this is normal.
- Wood beads: dry cloth only. Brass-tone chain and canopy: dry microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive pads and liquid cleaners.
Does a bulb come included?
Yes — one 3000K warm white E27 LED bulb ships in the box. The pendant is ready to use immediately after installation. The open base means the bulb is visible from directly below — a globe or ST64 Edison filament bulb is a natural aesthetic match if you want a visible decorative element rather than the LED capsule. The E27 socket accepts any standard medium screw base replacement bulb.
Which size should I choose?
The Ø40 cm works over a compact 2-seat table, as a bedside pendant, or in a reading corner — it also looks strong hung in a pair or trio over a longer surface. Why does this fixture use a chain instead of a cord?
The brass-tone linked chain is part of the design aesthetic — it coordinates with the brass-finish canopy and adds a warm metallic detail that sits between the natural jute body and the ceiling. Chain suspension also makes height adjustment easier at installation: links can be removed or added at the canopy to set the drop length precisely. The electrical wiring runs inside the chain links.
Will the fringe sway or move in normal use?
Yes — the white cotton fringe hangs freely and will sway gently in airflow from ceiling fans, HVAC vents, or open windows nearby. This is a characteristic of the material and is not a defect. If you need a completely static shade, position the pendant away from direct airflow sources. Over a dining table in a closed room, the fringe will settle and remain relatively still.
Is it dimmable?
