Meet the Rapolano — a travertine wall sconce that layers a solid-wood backplate, a honed natural-travertine disc, and a frosted opal glass globe. The G9 light glows softly through the glass. About 25.5 cm (10″) across, this hardwired natural stone wall light suits a bedside, hallway, entryway, living room, or staircase — a warm, minimalist, wabi-sabi accent.

- Hardwired wall install — switch off power at the breaker first; a licensed electrician is recommended.
- Mount to a standard wall junction box and level the backplate before final tightening.
- A center height around 150–165 cm (59–65″) works for hallways; set it near eye level beside a bed.
- Use a 2700K warm-white G9 LED to keep the opal glow soft, and stay within the fixture’s rated bulb wattage.
- Travertine is natural stone — open pores, cavities, and veining differ on every piece and are not defects.
What bulb does the travertine wall sconce use, and is it included?
It takes one G9 bulb, sold separately. We recommend a 2700K warm-white G9 LED for the softest glow. Stay within the fixture’s rated bulb wattage.
How bright is it, and can I dim it?
The frosted opal globe gives soft, ambient accent light rather than a room’s main light. It is dimmable with a compatible dimmable G9 LED bulb and a matching wall dimmer.
Does it need hardwiring, or can I plug it in?
Hardwired into a wall junction box, not plug-in. Use a licensed electrician, and switch off power at the breaker before mounting the backplate.
Will my sconce look exactly like the photo?
Close, but not identical. Travertine is natural stone, so cavities, color, and veining differ on every piece — that variation is the character of real stone, not a flaw. Clean it with a soft dry cloth.
