Chain Tassel Ceiling Light — cascading aluminum chains, semi-flush, Silver or Gold.
A metal crown ring mounts to the ceiling and from it hundreds of fine aluminum chains fall in layered tassels — each chain approximately 50 cm long, gathered into scalloped arcs that sway gently when disturbed. The E14 candle bulbs are set inside the crown, their light passing outward and downward through the dense chain curtain as a soft shimmer: each link reflects a small fragment of the light source, multiplying it across the room as scattered warm points. Available in Silver or Gold aluminum chain, in three diameters from 50 to 80 cm.

This fixture is heavier than a standard pendant: 5 kg (11 lbs) for the ∅ 50 cm, 7.2 kg (15.8 lbs) for the ∅ 68 cm, and 8.8 kg (19.4 lbs) for the ∅ 80 cm. Your ceiling junction box and mounting bracket must be rated to hold the fixture’s weight. Standard junction boxes are typically rated for 35 lbs (16 kg) when attached to ceiling joists. Confirm the load rating of your specific ceiling mount with your electrician before installation.

Compatible with E14 LED candle and globe bulbs. A warm-white E14 LED at 2700 K is recommended — the amber tone passes through and reflects off the aluminum chain links as warm scattered light rather than cool or blue-white, which would read harshly against the chain texture. A flame-tip or candle-shaped E14 at 4–6W per socket provides comfortable light without overpowering the shimmer effect. The bulb count is 4 (∅ 50 cm), 6 (∅ 68 cm), or 8 (∅ 80 cm) — confirm the correct count for your selected size before purchasing bulbs.

How do I confirm my ceiling can support the weight?
The Chain Tassel weighs between 5 and 8.8 kg depending on the size you select. Most ceiling junction boxes in North America are rated for 35 lbs (approximately 16 kg) when anchored directly to a ceiling joist — but older boxes, ceiling fan boxes, or plastic clip-in boxes may be rated for less. Before installation, have your electrician verify that the existing junction box is rated for the fixture’s weight and is secured to structural framing. If in doubt, replace the box with a fan-rated box anchored to a joist or ceiling brace, which can typically handle up to 70 lbs (32 kg).
Will the chains move or rattle with air movement?
Yes — light air movement from HVAC vents, ceiling fans, or foot traffic near the fixture will cause the aluminum chains to sway gently. This is part of the fixture’s character and is normal. The chains may produce a soft metallic sound when they contact each other under significant air movement. For spaces with strong, constant airflow from ceiling vents directly above the fixture position, consider moving the installation point to a calmer area of the ceiling to minimize movement.
What is the visual difference between Silver and Gold?
The Silver finish reflects light as cool, white-silver points — it reads as chrome in a lit room and has a high-contrast, contemporary appearance that works well against white, grey, or neutral ceilings. The Gold finish reflects light as warm amber-gold points — the scatter effect reads warmer and richer, and the fixture reads as a more classical or maximalist object in the space. With a warm white bulb at 2700 K, both finishes will scatter warm light; the Gold finish amplifies this warmth while the Silver finish tempers it.
