How long is the drop on this fixture?

The longest drop across all variants is 59 inches from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. That works for standard 9-foot or 10-foot ceilings over a table or island.

What's the difference between triac and stepless dimming?

Triac dimming works with most standard wall dimmers but may show a slight flicker at very low levels. Stepless dimming is smooth and continuous at every brightness level, with no visible steps or flicker.

Which size should I pick—47 inches or 59 inches?

Measure the width of your table or island. The 47.2-inch length fits a standard dining table. The 59-inch length suits larger islands or open dining areas. Both hang from the same height.

Is the walnut finish real wood?

Yes. The shade is solid walnut wood stained walnut color. The brass hardware is at both support points. It is not painted or veneered.
