Resin pendant in three sizes, five finishes

The Navicula is a ceiling-hung pendant cast in resin with layered, curved ribs inspired by diatom shells. It measures 16.9″ to 18.5″ wide and hangs 4.7″ to 5.9″ deep, and works in dining rooms, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms where a single, statement-scaled fixture is the goal.

What is the Navicula made from?

Resin body with metal hardware. The shape mirrors the ribbed form of diatom algae found in ocean water.

Can I dim this fixture?

Yes. It works with any standard dimmer switch compatible with your chosen bulb type (LED or Edison).

Can I adjust the cord length or install it on a sloped ceiling?

The cord adjusts to 59″ out of the box and can be extended further on request. Custom canopies for sloped or vaulted ceilings are available—contact support@vakkerlight.com to discuss your ceiling.

Will this work in my home?

Yes. The Navicula is hardwired to standard North American household power (AC 110–240V) and is approved for use in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Saudi Arabia.

Cute and well made

They came quicker than expected and look amazing in my space.

We havent hung them yet, but it was exactly what we were looking for. They are slightly different color in person, but brings some different texture to the room.

This light looks amazing in my kitchen!!!!!! It gives the vibe I wanted and I love the look above my tale. If you are looking for super bright lighting this might not be for you, but for my needs it was a perfect match.

This was an amazing outcome. I was fearful that this would be a little too dark and not have that concrete look that I was looking for, but as you can see, it is simply beautiful.. thank you!

I felt iffy when I unboxed it, didn't look that pretty or realistic because IT'S NOT concrete; but when I set it up it took another dimension of beautifulness. Really love how it turned out.

The effect is very good, and minimalism is a classic.

Absolutely gorgeous! I was nervous these would be a cheep cold grey color or have an unappealing underside. I was searching for a clay/stone or wabi sabi vibe type of light and Im happy to report I found it. They are textured with a stone(ish) finish and the grey is a natural neutral color, perfectly warm as I had hoped. Both lights were packaged carefully with easy electrical instillation. Next up are stools and hardware and my kitchen will be complete! Very impressed with quality of these lights. These 16.9" lights are just what I needed to elevate this space and I feel like I got a deal! Highly recommend!!

I love these pendants. They look like concrete and match our concrete fireplace. I've seen reviews saying that the color looks painted on and is not what was expected but to me, it does look like concrete color. It's very neutral and not a warm or cool grey that fights with other colors. Very modern looking.

The pendant light is exactly as described. The resin exterior shade adds an understated look to the dining area of my great room. I wanted light over the table but I didnt want it to overpower my less than great space. It works very well there.

Looks great! Exactly what I was looking for. Its a bit more grey then beige - but I think the color in the photo is pretty darn close. Its got some nice texture and plenty of wire to be able to adjust height.
