Venturo Cage Ceiling Fan — Pure Copper Motor, 6-Speed Remote, Pivoting Head

A 30 cm wire-cage fan head mounts to the ceiling through a brushed-nickel canopy and a turned metal stem that includes a ball-joint pivot — the head tilts to direct airflow toward a specific chair, bed, or work surface rather than simply pushing air straight down. Inside the oval cage, three wood-finish ABS blades are driven by a pure copper motor at 35W on variable frequency, providing quiet, consistent torque across six remote-controlled speed steps. The cage itself is part of the design language: the open wire oval references early industrial fans and reads well in apartments, small dining rooms, home offices, and compact bedrooms where a standard flush-mount would feel too ordinary. Available in five finishes — Walnut, Nickel, Black, Wood Color, and White — to match a broad range of interior palettes.

How much does the ball-joint head actually tilt — can I aim it sideways?

The ball joint allows the fan head to tilt off-vertical — the typical range on this style of mount is 30°–45° from straight down, enough to direct airflow at an angle toward a bed, sofa, or desk rather than only at the floor directly below. It does not rotate a full 90° to blow horizontally like a wall fan. For a compact bedroom or office where you want airflow aimed at a specific spot, the pivot covers the practical range needed.

Is the copper motor noticeably quieter than a standard fan motor?

Pure copper windings combined with variable-frequency control produce a smoother magnetic field transition between speed steps, which reduces the buzzing and humming common in aluminum-wound motors running on fixed-frequency AC. At speeds 1 and 2 the Venturo runs near-silently — suitable for sleeping with the fan on. At speeds 5 and 6 airflow noise from the blades and cage will be audible, as with any fan at high speed. The motor itself remains quiet throughout the range.

What room size does the 30 cm / 12″ blade sweep cover?

A 30 cm (12″) fan is in the compact category — it moves air effectively in a space up to roughly 100–120 sq ft (9–11 m²) when used as the primary circulator. For a larger room, the Venturo works well as a directional spot fan aimed at a seating or sleeping area, supplementing central air conditioning or a larger ceiling fan rather than replacing it. The ball-joint pivot extends its effective range by letting you aim it precisely rather than relying on vertical downdraft alone.

Do I need a special wall switch, or does the remote handle everything?

The remote handles all speed control and on/off. No special wall switch is required for fan speed — a standard single-pole on/off switch at the wall is sufficient to cut power to the fan entirely when it is not in use. Do not install a dimmer or variable-speed wall switch; these are not compatible with variable-frequency fan motors and can damage the motor over time.

Which finish works best in which interior style?

Nickel pairs naturally with brushed hardware, stainless appliances, and grey or cool-toned interiors. Black reads well in contrast-forward spaces — dark cabinets, exposed brick, or matte black fixture collections. Walnut and Wood Color work in warm-toned, Scandinavian, or mid-century modern rooms where wooden furniture is already present. White integrates into bright, minimal, or Japandi spaces without drawing attention away from the room's other elements.
