A travertine column globe wall sconce — a vertical capsule of natural yellow travertine on a matte-black iron backplate, with a hand-blown opal-glass globe set to one side. The opal glass diffuses a single G9 bulb into soft, glare-free light. W4.3″ × H10.2″ (11 × 26 cm), 6.7″ projection. About natural travertine
Each column is cut from a unique block of yellow travertine. Vein pattern, color tone, and surface pits vary piece to piece — these are characteristics of the stone, not defects. Pores are sealed but left visible.
About the opal glass
The globe is hand-blown opal glass — minor variations in wall thickness, texture, and shape are characteristic of the process. The opal finish fully diffuses the bulb so no filament or hotspot shows when lit.

My sconce looks different from the photos — is that normal?
Yes. Every travertine column is cut from a unique block of natural stone, and every opal globe is hand-blown. Vein pattern, color tone, pore distribution, and small variations in glass shape will differ from the product photos — that variation is the defining quality of natural and hand-made materials, not a defect.
How is this different from the slot and tapered travertine sconces?
All three are travertine, different forms. This Column Globe pairs a vertical stone bar with a separate opal-glass globe for soft diffused light. The Slot sconce is a tall cylinder with light glowing through a face slot. The Tapered sconce is a low wedge that glows top and bottom. Pick Column Globe for a soft, even glow beside a bed or mirror.
What bulb does it use, is it included, and is it dimmable?
One G9 bulb, included. A 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest opal glow. Dimmable when paired with a dimmable G9 bulb and a Triac wall dimmer (sold separately).
Can I install it in a bathroom?
Yes, beside a vanity mirror clear of direct water. It's rated IP20 for indoor dry/damp locations — fine on a bathroom wall away from the shower or tub, but not in a wet zone. Travertine is porous and absorbs moisture, which stains the stone over time.
Is it certified for North America, and what's the warranty?
Listed for North America, plus CE, SAA, SASO, and KC certifications; operates on AC 110–240V. 2-year warranty on the fixture and wiring; G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts. Email support for help — we reply within one business day.

This is a hardwired wall sconce—it mounts flush to a wall over a standard US junction box via the matte-black iron backplate. A licensed electrician is recommended for installation.
